Vacation rentals in New Castle

We had a wonderful stay. The house is in a quiet area yet close to the water taxi. We rented a car so we used the ferry which only runs in the morning and one trip in the evening so make sure you can get there depending on flights if using a car. Once that is figured out the rest is pretty easy. Nevins is beautiful and untouched. The house has everything you need. We made sandwiches for our hikes and ate out for dinner. We had a wonderful time. Celeste was very responsive with questions regarding the ferry which I did not figure out ahead of time. We had lunch and went for a swim in st kitts before we got on the ferry. If you take the water taxi it’s super easy since they come and go.

He and he's wife are the best. Exceed my expectations and help us to resolve a personal issue. Extremely apreciated. Definetely we'll come back. 100 % recommended

Coccoloba was truly "Heaven on the Hill". It sits up the hill from Oualie Beach and the Water Taxi Pier. It looks out across the Narrows to St Kitts and has the most wonderful sunset views. It was perfect for our family of 4 with two cozy bedrooms. Each with their own bathroom, outdoor showers (indoor ones too). The bedrooms have their own A/C (if needed). In the morning open the pocket doors to let the constant breeze to keep you comfy and cool. The kitchen was fully furnished with everything we needed. One nice extra is that Peter and Louise stocked the villa with an initial supply of provisions that held us over until our grocery store trip. The outdoor grill was a easy to use and fired up fast. Peter & Louise were such wonderful hosts! We fell in love with Nevis and the villa. Hope to be back soon. Ron

We had a wonderful stay at villa tranquil, Carmesha the host was lovely to deal with and so friendly. We had no complaints about anything during our stay, it was exactly what we were looking for and it worked out great, highly recommend this space if you’re looking for a private, peaceful stay.

My wife and I had a great stay here. Being nestled in the forest is very unique and you feel like you are in the treetops when out on the deck. The views are amazing and being surrounded by nature makes it very tranquil and peaceful. The Monkey House is well equipped and full of character. Steve and Irene were amazing hosts, very thoughtful and considerate. They were super friendly and made us feel at home whilst still respecting our privacy. Hiring a car will mean you can very easily explore the wonderful island of Nevis. We hope we can stay again in the future.

I was really pleased to find 'Villa Iris Lower' was available for my dates. It had everything I needed to self cater and not far to walk to the beach. Maria quickly answered all my questions, prior to booking and once booked, her and Gary offered much advice on how to get there from St Kitts airport, including contacts for Taxi, Water Taxi and Property managed by Urban, who was very kind and helpful to all the guests staying on the complex (Villas; Calypso and Iris). I was also made welcome by the resident in Calypso, who showed me the best view of the bay from the Calypso balcony and where the locals hang out on Tuesday nights, in the bar on Oualie Beach, where it was a really friendly atmosphere and nice vibe on music night. Regarding entertainment that's about it, peace and relaxation, nice beach and 9km form Charlestown where I bought the groceries and explored a bit more. There are some mini busses. Ideally you need to be fit to walk up a hill or rent a car to explore further.

4 of us stayed at Mark's place for a girl's trip. It was wonderful! Beautiful views. The house was perfect with 4 bedrooms, each having their own bathroom. Janette pampered us with a clean house, freshly made beds (all during our 10 day stay) and a sweet personality. Bonnie was at the house to meet us after we picked up our rental car to answer any question we had. The location can't be beat - our biggest decision each day was if we were going to the beach or laying by the pool! You need a rental car if you're staying on Nevis. This was our 2nd trip & we will be back!!!!

Excellent place to stay especially if you are looking to relax in nature. cozy and quaint cottage with kitchen basics. Pots, dishes, silverware etc (you'll need to bring spices etc if cooking) no microwave. Bathroom has good water pressure with hot water, ample towels. Air conditioning in the bedroom (I never used it, enjoyed the breeze instead). Beautiful screened in porch with table and chairs (a hammock would make it perfect). Great place to watch the monkeys in the trees. Seen an entire monkey family. There was a gorgeous peacock 🦚 outside my door. The place is gated and host will give you a remote for it. Host is easily available by phone. Definitely recommend a vehicle (I rented a tiny car but a little suv is ideal due to the road up to the house but a car works). There is a bus stop at the bottom but requires a bit of walking up and down a hill. You will hear the sound of nature at night (best sleep ever). Pool on property but I didn't use it. Host lives on site. Thank you 😊
