Gareth’s cabin is such a perfect getaway! Everything you could want is there, and you can tell he really cares about his guests and their comfort because every suggestion I saw in the guest book had already been implemented by the time I visited! I highly recommend booking this suite for your next visit to the area.

Mallard on Church Lake Accessible Lakefront AFrame

Les TylerRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Our stay at Mallard at Church Lake was fantastic! The A-frame design is stunning with beautiful decor throughout. The kitchen setup was perfect, and we loved using the outdoor grill for lakeside meals. As birding enthusiasts, we added many new species to our Life List and learned fascinating details about mallard duck behavior and life cycles. The location is a nature lover's dream. What really set this property apart were the excellent accessibility features (wheelchair ramp, no-threshold shower, seamless floor transitions, etc., which accommodated our disabilities. The hosts were communicative before and during our stay, making everything seamless. We enjoyed canoeing and paddleboarding during the day and incredible stargazing at night under clear skies. This property offers the perfect blend of comfort, accessibility, and natural beauty. We'd absolutely stay again and highly recommend it to other travellers, especially those needing accessible accommodations!

Driftwood dreams cottage

PaulRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Very well planned out two story cottage with all the amenities. Property is ocean facing with incredible views and easy access to the beach at low tide. Depending on the time of year it can be quite blustery - pack a sweater and you are all good. You’re a 15 minute walk into Hall’s Harbour and the best lobster dinner for miles. Sonia was very responsive.

Old Arrow Cabin - Waterfront 10 acre privacy

TrishRating, 5 stars5 days ago
This property is amazing! It was so peaceful sitting on the deck enjoying our morning coffee or a glass of wine later in the day! 4 deer ran along the front of the property and we also had visits from rabbits and many songbirds. The cabin was very clean, comfortable beds and great shower. The amenities were excellent - we were not missing anything. Location is close to Annapolis Royal, Digby and Bear River and we popped in all of these towns. Would definitely recommend Jeff’s cabin and could see ourselves booking again! Thanks a lot Jeff!

The Owl's Nest Wilderness Cottage

AdrienneRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Lisa was tending to her beautiful chickens when I arrived and she greeted me warmly. She suggested I not take the drive into Digby and just settle in. I told her only had light food with me and she gave me two freshly laid eggs! Still warm! The walk to the little nest was only a few minutes. Could not have been any happier when I saw the tiny cottage in the distance completely isolated from the rest of the farm. Magical. The inside was so cozy and well thought out. I was leary about the composting toilet in the out house at first but it was spotless and fresh. Very clever. Clear instructions were provided in the cabin on how to comfortablely stay in a place with no electricity and running water. Drinking water was provided as well as water for the kitchenette sink. There were plenty of led lanterns for the night. Charging station was excellent. If you are looking for peace, tranquility, and the sounds of silence you will find it here. Stayed two nights, wish it was more.
