With excellent train connections to Hanover and Nienburg as well as direct access to the B6, our location is ideal for leisure travelers, family visits or fitters. Our cozy and well equipped vacation home is rural in the Steinhuder Meer Nature Park. Relax on the terrace overlooking the natural garden or explore the surroundings by bike and on foot. At the Steinhuder Meer you will find many recreational opportunities, restaurants and cultural offerings. Poggenhagen has a S-Bahn connection, which makes it possible to get to the beautiful state capital Hanover by public transport (30 min. travel time).

The former bakery in Schweringen was completely renovated as a guest house in 2019 and now offers 2 rooms (1 room with a double bed, 1.40 wide and 1 room with 2 single beds, 90 cm wide) with a shared living room, fully equipped kitchen and bathroom. The Weser ferry and the Weser cycle path are right outside the door. Schweringen and the beautiful surroundings invite you to take long walks and bike rides.

Hämelerwald train station is only a 15-minute walk away.

There is a forest right outside the door. Behind the house is the bike path around Steinhuder Meer, so you can start right outside the front door. Daily necessities are easily reached on foot or by bike.
