Good hiking opportunities in the surrounding area in both summer and winter. The cabin has nice views of the water and is a short walking distance from the free parking space. Boat and canoe can be used. Lots of trout in the water😉 20 km to Sauda city center with shops, swimming facilities, golf, duck pond, pump track, pole hunting, etc. 10 km to Almannajuvet. 30 km to Svandalen Alpine Center ANIMALS NOT ALLOWED.

Svandalen ski center is 15 minutes away by car. The cabin is rented to guests who have respect for the fact that they live in our private cabin and is NOT rented out for parties and private events.

The boathouse is very tastefully decorated, and is beautifully located right by the quay. Good communication makes it easy to get to/from Stavanger and attractions in the region. The boathouse has two jetties and a small boat, as well as great hiking, swimming and fishing opportunities. It is located southwest-facing which means many nice sunsets. We are in the process of developing a cozy and charming little place with brewery, cafe and shop. You can order fresh items for breakfast, lunch and dinner - everything served and sold is made here.

In this place your family can stay close to everything, the location is central to the local store where there is the possibility of both electric car charging and filling of fuel. There are many great hiking opportunities nearby such as to Nipe, Snønuten and Melen. The cabin is located approx. halfway between Røldal (30 km) and Gullingen (46 km) which is known for great winter activities.
