Our getaway in this beautiful setting was wonderful. We felt like we were in a secluded treehouse, with the sound of the Pacific Ocean waves to lull us to sleep. Great hikes nearby. This place is such a perfectly tucked away gem! Close enough to neighbors to not be so secluded but you still feel you have privacy with all of the growth around it. In a nice little corner of Devils Lake, like reviews said before perfect dock for taking a kayak out on. House was beautiful and all of the window views made it feel so relaxing and we spotted all of the wildlife mentioned - deer across from us on the grass, an eagle in the nest on the pole close by , birds, ducks, geese, and cranes. The beds were super comfortable , with many extra pillow and blanket options. Hot tub is in such a great spot with the view.

Lakefront Retreat with Hot tub, pet friendly

We had a lovely weekend. Chose this place especially because it was pet friendly. We have anxious/nervous pups that cannot handle meeting strange dogs at the fence-line or next door. This was perfect for them (and us!) The lake was beautiful - sunrise the first day was spectacular. Brought our SUP boards. It was easy enough to get in and out of the lake from the dock. Dogs had room to play in the grass on their long-lines and settled right down in the house. Loved all the windows and light & the games in the garage were a bonus :-) The wind was a contender with the fire pit but that is the Oregon Coast for you ;-) The street out front is busy (certainly not the host's fault... too bad people don't observe speed limits and caution when driving through busy neighborhoods!) We hope to come again with friends. Great space for families with kids/teens - separate spaces for everyone to enjoy some time together ... and spaces to spend time apart.

I absolutely loved my stay at this peaceful and secluded retreat! It’s the perfect place to reconnect with nature and unwind in a quiet, serene setting. The property owners were incredibly kind and respectful of privacy, while also being warm and welcoming—truly the best kind of hosts. The area is rich with wildlife, and it was such a joy to watch and listen to nature all around me. The accommodations were very comfortable, offering everything I needed for a relaxing stay. Even better, the location is just a short drive from town, so I could easily pop in for a nice breakfast, lunch, or dinner. This spot strikes the perfect balance between feeling tucked away and still being conveniently close to everything. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway. I’m already looking forward to coming back!
