Explore & take long walks to enjoy the environment, native flora & vibe of the local area. Long Reef Beach Nature Reserve is a short stroll north, or head south to Curl Curl & Freshwater Beaches. Whilst staying at Banksia there is little need to have a vehicle as you can walk to the beach, cafes, restaurants & supermarkets. The bus stop is just at the end of the laneway on Griffin Rd. You might like to take a short bus ride into Manly where you can hop on a ferry to take you across to the City & Bondi - if you are so inclined to venture to the 'dark side'. Try a walk around Dee Why lagoon to check out the bird life, or a cliff walk from Dee Why to Curl Curl with stunning views. Walk to Long Reef Marnie Reserve or take a bike ride around Narrabeen Lake. Do a short drive to Manly or visit Palm Beach. Shop at Westfield Shopping Mall. Dee Why is one of the northern beaches' most popular dining & surfing areas. Stayed with my wife for our 1 year wedding anniversary and it was an incredible and beautiful place. The view of the sunrise from the bed was perfect and the location was really peaceful and quiet yet a 4 minute drive from local shops and cafe's. Would highly recommend this place to anyone

Mette's apartment was exactly as described. It was impeccably clean and incredibly comfortable. We immediately felt at home. As a family of 5 including 3 kids, we especially appreciated the fully equipped kitchen, spacious 3 bedrooms and a fully functional washer and a dryer. Mette was an extremely responsive and friendly owner. His instruction was clear and we didn't have problem at all during check in and check out as well as the whole stay. We would definitely like to stay again at Mette's place in future.

Loved Anna’s place so much have already booked to come back for longer in a few months! Anna and Andrew were very welcoming when we checked in. The apartment was super clean with everything we needed and the bed was really comfy. Location was perfect, easy to walk to Freshie and nice and quiet. Looking forward to coming back soon.
