Une paisible et belle environnement… l’accueil excellant ! Sophie était tres gentille et efficace. Le gîte est super confortable et nous avons beaucoup appréciées la belle espace jardin avec la rivière et memes les libellules!!! Merci encore pour tout!

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour en Wallonie. Le logement de Mélanie est très bien situé, en campagne où le calme et la nature sont rois. Beau duplex, pratique et confortable. Mélanie est disponible, réactive et accueillante. Je n'hésiterai pas à vous recommander.

Marie-Francoise heeft een prachtig appartement gecreëerd dat nog ruimer was dan we dachten. Het uitzicht op de dieren vanaf het terras is fantastisch, en het ontbijt vol streekproducten heerlijk. Het dorpje zelf heeft geen winkels of cafés oid maar Marie-Francoise heeft goeie tips voor restaurants op enkele minuten rijden waar we heerlijk hebben gegeten. Hier verblijf je dus echt in alle rust.

Gîte "La Forestière"

« La Forestière » a connu auparavant une vie industrielle animée. C'est dans cette propriété qu'était installé le fourneau de Saint Lambert qui devint, en 1870, une fabrique d'allumettes. En 1874, elle accueille une scierie de marbre dont les bâtiments industriels sont, en 1931, détruits et la maison transformée en guinguette. En 1970, "La Forestière" devient une propriété privée. C'est dans ce cadre paisible et verdoyant que les hôtes vous accueillent pour passer un agréable séjour.

A very nice place in the heart of Chimay. The apartment is very cosy and nice. If you need the toilet while being in the living room you need to climp the stairs to get to the toilet which is located on the first floor. We stayed in Chimay in October and we expected the town to be more livily than it actually was.
