Felt inviting and welcoming from first step through the door. Decorating and attention to details, superb! Always available to answer any questions and handle any problems. One of the best overall experiences of any air bnb that I have encountered. Easy beach access, beautiful back patio and screen porch and awesome, comfortable beds. Overall, this was a great vacation spot. Hosts were great! House was great! We had a small inconvenience with three people coming the first day to service different parts of the house, but once addressed the host’s accommodated our requests well. Location is nice!

Ditto to what everyone else has said, this place is absolutely incredible! SO close to the beach and in a new development this quiet and boho chic townhouse was exactly what we needed for a beach getaway. The beds are so comfortable and the house is clean and exactly as pictured and described. A definite place for a family to stay to enjoy the OBX!

The house was in a great area, really close to the beach and really spacious. Our hosts were really kind and responsive to anything we needed. I would definitely come back and stay.

Gia’s DuckUtopia was everything we hoped it would be! There was something for everyone in my family. Although Gia provided lots of ideas and tips for the area, we loved just hanging out. The views of the sound were amazing. The pool and hot tub were perfect. My husband and son enjoyed the kayaks. My husband and daughter also enjoyed fishing for crab. Cleaning up with the outdoor shower after the beach was so easy. We loved all the amenities, especially the kitchen gadgets! All we needed to bring was food and towels for the beach. The place was clean and the neighborhood was quiet. We hope to return next year…to finish the ping pong match that got rained out! What a relaxing time! Thanks, Gia!

This place was perfect! The space was spotless, stylish, and exactly as pictured—maybe even better. Check-in was seamless, and the host went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcome, even leaving a few thoughtful extras that made a big difference. The neighborhood was quiet and safe, with great restaurants and shops nearby. The bed was super comfortable, and we had everything we needed for a relaxing, hassle-free stay. We honestly didn’t want to leave. Highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone visiting the area!

Brittany was an excellent host who responded as soon as possible to any inquires or requests for accommodations. The house was perfect and absolutely stunning. With having a two year old with my family, there were toys there ready to play which made it even better! The view was spectacular and the hot tub was equally amazing. We had some car trouble during when packing our car during check out which made us late for check out time unfortunately and she was very friendly and understanding. The walk to the beach was easy and quick. No complaints at all! Definitely can’t wait to stay again (when the two year old isn’t teething and going through sleep regression lol). 10/10 highly recommend!

We all felt very at home, the house is gorgeous and the beach is right there. We each had our own room and bathroom. Carrie was always quick to respond to our questions. We definitely want to go back there if possible next year and use her house again. None of us wanted to leave. We even saw dolphins from her deck, it was amazing. Thank you Carrie for everything!!!

Our stay at Eric's exceeded expectations. Truly a beautiful house, spotlessly clean, well appointed. Eric was a great communicator from the time I made my reservation to the time I left the house, quickly answering all questions, giving recommendations and dealing with a small problem we had promptly. I would say that this house is one of the rare places on Airb&b that looks *better* than the pictures. Thank you so much!

Laurie was an excellent host! She was very helpful and the place was “as advertised”. For some reason the interior of the place brought back memories of a house on a Greek island (where I grew up). Certainly a place I will look for again when I am at OBX. ps There is a great collection of books and games to keep kids (and adults) occupied!

This home certainly makes for a relaxing vacation, as you have direct walk-out access to the beach; it feels warm and welcoming, everything you need to unwind and simply enjoy the sea and sand. Ideal location. We would definitely stay again.

Cynthia was very accommodating and a pleasure to speak to. Her home was very welcoming. This was my first Airbnb experience and I’m happy I chose Cynthia to do that with. Will be back next year.

We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at The Salty Shoebox, they had upgraded the sofas, put in new flooring, and a new granite countertop in the kitchen. Travis was very good, as we had a couple requests while we were there, the requests were taken care of promptly. The location was great, right on the beach.

Beautiful, immaculate home! Very high end aesthetic, furniture, fixtures, dish-ware. The location has something to offer for all. The beach was a fairly short walk. The house came equipped with beach chairs, an umbrella, and a buggy to tote your items. I couldn’t have asked for a better environment. It’s a great house for a small group. I actually visited solo with my puppy and enjoyed having all the space.

We were so happy with our stay at your beach house. We loved the dock and the layout of the house was great. Overall we would definitely consider staying again! We had an absolutely wonderful time and stay. Thank you!

What a great stay at Monika’s place! Everything was so clean and well thought out. The cottage was well equipped with everything we needed. Even the little details were thought of, like a needle and thread in a pinch. Plenty of fluffy, clean towels for a hot shower and a very comfortable bed which I really appreciated. Monika was easy to communicate with and helped us find a great place for dinner with a view on our last night. The neighborhood was quiet and close to everywhere we wanted to go. Close to parks, restaurants, shops and the beach! We would definitely stay again!

Perfect place for family time! My family plus dog enjoyed our stay very much. The house looks just like the pictures provided, we enjoyed morning breakfast on the back screened in porch and fun filled afternoons kayaking and laying out on the back dock. The house was clean and very well maintained. We enjoyed our stayed so much we will definitely be back.

We had a wonderful stay at Swimming and Boating over Memorial Day weekend! The house was spotless, well-stocked with everything we needed, and perfectly located—just a short walk to the beach with beautiful views. Debbie, was fantastic—she communicated clearly and thoughtfully throughout our stay, and even left us an amazing bottle of wine, which was such a nice touch. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

Great place to stay, location was a perfect balance of quiet privacy while being close to all shops and attractions. Very clean and comfortable. Our family felt at home right away. The pool was the perfect size for sitting and relaxing after a day at the beach. We will definitely be back.

I have stayed at many nice Airbnb’s during my time as a travel nurse, however Danielle’s was hands down the nicest! Extremely clean, bed was super comfortable, quiet, did I mention EXTREMELY clean?! I could go on and on! My husband and I visited the OBX for our 25th wedding anniversary , and this Airbnb was the icing on the cake. It made our beach trip that much more enjoyable!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
