The Kimura family has two buildings that are important cultural assets. Meals are served in the main house, which was built in 1699. Guests will be able to stay in an old but new building (designated an important cultural property) that will be renovated by 2026. There are four confirmed accommodations in Japan that use nationally designated important cultural properties, including our home.Of those, this is the only accommodation where you can rent the entire building. However, that's why you can experience a nostalgic time from the past that can only be had here.For guests staying for multiple days, such as 2 nights/3 days, the host can also take them to sightseeing spots for a day.I can only speak Japanese, but I know how to converse with guests from any country using a translation tool.I know how to use words that are easy to translate. I like traveling. Enjoy a nostalgic and peaceful time listening to the stream. Right in front of the house is the owner's restaurant, "Asemigawa Shokudo Kadoya", which is popular for its teppanyaki and other dishes made with local ingredients. We offer great deals for guests, so please stop by. A small separate room adjacent to the main house has a relaxing space with a room theater. You can enjoy movies and music and spend a relaxing evening. We also rent out free floats and underwater glasses for playing in the river, making it perfect for families. It is an inn filled with nature and playfulness. Activities such as canoeing and rafting are also popular on the nearby Yoshino River. There are plenty of food attractions, such as the legendary Wagyu beef "Tosa Akaushi" and the local rice that won the best prize in the national rice contest. Supermarket and convenience store are 3 minutes by car, and Mont-Bell Outdoor Village Motoyama is 7 minutes. It is also a convenient base for sightseeing, about 60 minutes by car to Kochi City and Iya Valley. Come and enjoy a trip where you can experience tranquility, nature, local flavors, and fun.

This is a small private rental accommodation nestled in the mountains of Soya, Miyoshi City, Tokushima Prefecture, limited to one group per day.Outside the window, the mountains and village scenery of Uya spread out, and you can enjoy a quiet time while admiring the scenery, a little away from the hustle and bustle of tourist destinations. The accommodation is located on the premises of the host's family home, where they were born and raised.We built an inn where you can enjoy Uya's nature and quiet time on the site of a barn that was built about 100 years ago. A newly built private building with a bedroom, living room, kitchen, bathroom, and toilet that can accommodate up to 4 people.It is especially recommended for a relaxing stay for two people.The water in the building is spring water drawn from the mountains. This is a room-only accommodation, but we provide cooking utensils, dishes, basic condiments, and rice, so you can cook for yourself.There are almost no convenience stores or restaurants nearby, so please prepare food and drinks before entering Uya. Uya no Kazura Bridge is about a 10-minute drive away.BBQ, sunken hearth, and hakama rice experiences are paid options that require advance booking.
