The stay does complete justice to its name, Homely Hills - felt right at home in the lap of the mountains! From the food, to the breeze, to the kohra that envelops the mountains like gift wrapping. Homely hills is a gift you must give to yourself. And please please work in the khet when you’re here, if your body allows you to. It will be a life changing experience. Thank you to Saroj di, Sunaxi, Sujal, Rajesh Uncle, Amit, Dadi Ludra Devi, Dada, Airi, Geeta, Mitsu, Laddoo, Atro Devi, Jaggo Devi, Naro Devi, Mia, Gia and Misky. I know, for a fact, that I will always have a home here, at homely hills.

We went Mussoorie in the first week of June in 2025. I selected Sanjiv's place because we needed a secluded, quite and tranquil place. The people and the place both were welcoming. This place has an old colonial charm as well as it is well rooted in the typical Uttarakhand traditional atmosphere. The place was clean, well maintained. I think Sanjiv's father manages day to day operations as I have met him more frequently. There are 7 beautiful and loved rescued dogs. The place has its own wibes. we loved it. A few things you should keep in mind if you are going to book it. 1) It is 3 km away from the mall road and in mussoorie 3 km feels like 6. So, if you wish to visit the mall frequently this isn't the place for you. 2) If you wish to be in yourself and explore Mussoorie at your own pace, and if you wish to really feel the real charm of the town, this is the place for you. 3) No refrigerator in the room so don't bring mangoes as you will have to throw them away. 😀

The farm is absolutely beautiful, very well made by the hosts. The landscaping of the property is mighty impressive. The caretaker Ankesh is extremely helpful and responsive. We took our pets there, they loved their stay there.

Our stay was phenomenal. The location, the treehouse and the view from it is incredible. We were lucky to meet Rebekah in person - and she is so warm and kind. She took us for this beautiful hike, gave amazing recommendations! We got Kusum to make us Gharwali food - which was delicious and so filling. Kaushal gave an excellent massage. The whole experience was so wholesome and cannot forget the furry family which was the cutest and loveliest! We had great fun and gonna recommend this place to anyone wanting to visit Landour!
