Cozy house & countryside close to Sarlat

FrancisRating, 5 stars9 months ago
Pleasant cottage, well equipped, with fenced grounds and terrace that we were unfortunately not able to enjoy much because of unusual bad weather. Friendly welcome by Pascal. Note: the disturbing existence of tiger mosquitoes in the area. So be well equipped. Le Périgord Noir, which we were unfamiliar with, is a beautiful region with multiple places to visit. We also really enjoyed Nadaillac, a very quiet and charming little village. Marie-Odile and Francis

Les Muses - 3-star cottage - Heated swimming pool

EmilyRating, 5 stars9 months ago
We had a lovely relaxing stay with Sylvie and Laurent. The the place is self contained and has everything you need. It's in a beautiful little village with shops including a boulangerie, butcher and boutique farm shop, plus a couple of low key bars/restaurants. We had a couple of 'pool days' but also explored the area - kayak/canoe down the Dordogne is a must! Thank you both again fo ra wonderful stay :)
The image captures a tranquil village scene featuring a historic stone building with two prominent towers. A cobblestone path leads up to the entrance, surrounded by lush greenery. Nearby structures and a clear blue sky complete the picturesque setting, evoking a sense of rural charm.

The House of Roustigou

NathalieRating, 5 stars13 months ago
Superb house very well equipped and maintained. The rental is central to tour the Dordogne and its major sites. The pool is a huge plus, especially at the end of the day after visiting. There is calm and nature as far as the eye can see. There were 7 of us including 2 children and plenty of room, no one felt cramped. I would recommend this house as basic camps to visit the area.
