Monthly Rentals in Na Mokulua

Beautiful location! Absolutely awesome place and host. The location is 5-10 minute walk to the beach. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. We went for morning walks each day. The home itself is quaint, clean and was perfect for our family of 4. The host was great and responsive. The town is a 5 minute drive and has great restaurants. High recommend to book this place if it’s available!

Kate and Dan were absolutely exceptional hosts. Both were very kind, accommodating, communicative, and personable. The unit is very clean, has a comfortable bed, a wonderful shower, a full sized fridge, a beautiful outdoor eating area and it is only a few minute walk to one of the most gorgeous beaches! They also supply beach towels and beach chairs which is great for relaxing days at the beach. There are plenty of great restaurants and shops in Kailua, so only about a 10 minute drive. Everything about this place was spectacular and it is truly a gem. We hope to return one day!

Our Hawaiian dreams came true! Teale’s place was perfect, it is easy to feel right at home. Teale and Ohana were the best hosts and she responded quickly and happily to any questions I had. Her recommendations were awesome(we did almost all of them). The unit had everything we could need and more! We enjoyed sitting in the sunroom and looking at the mountains and ocean, breathtaking views. Teale supplies beach gear with a great wagon that makes it easy to get to the beach! It’s just a short 12 min walk to one or a quick drive to two of the prettiest beaches on the island. Also a short walk or drive to one of the coolest hikes behind Lanikai beach! It is also a great jumping off point for any adventure around the island. We did not want to leave! There aren’t enough words to describe how grateful we were to get to stay here! Mahalo! Ps! The bed is amazing!!

Staying at Karibu Cottage was a highlight of our trip to Hawaii. The living space was comfortable, modern and very well- equipped. We were welcomed with a nicely stocked refrigerator. The unit had delightful cross breezes with loads of natural light, and the bed was excellent. It had a great lanai, a fully private entrance and yard with a gas grill, complete beach equipment, and a designated parking spot. John was very helpful and quickly responsive to a few questions we had at arrival and about media access. The location enabled us to get up for sunrise over the Mōkūlua most mornings after a very short walk. Kailua town and its farmer’s market, grocery stores and great restaurants ( Buzz’s, Paia Fish House) are a short drive away. While we only had the pleasure of meeting them once during our stay, it is clear that Melinda and John put a lot of thought and care into the space and we are very appreciative. We would love to make a return visit! Sunrises here are gorgeous!
