If you like the tranquility of Scandinavian nature, then this location is certainly also the beautiful characteristic cottage of Simen. In this house, you can't help but feel happy. Don't forget to bring your own bedding, we had to buy it on the way. Fortunately, the dimensions of the beds are listed. Simen, thanks again for this stay.

A beautiful valuable accommodation and a friendly host.

The two of us spent a week in the cozy Ekornhytta and felt comfortable from the first moment! The house is very well equipped (also for more people), window view of the lake, fireplace and sauna provide the Norwegian feel-good atmosphere. In the area around the house, there are many hiking trails, bike paths and cross-country trails with great views of Rondane and beyond. And the squirrel is not a marketing gimmick, it actually passed by at its feeding station. :-) Communication with Sandra and Stine as hosts is straightforward and fast!

What a great experience it was to spend a few winter days in this cozy hytte! Pink-coloured sky in the morning, skiing in fresh snow as well as on freshly prepared tracks, breathtaking views of the Rondane mountains, lazy evenings with warm food and books and even such rarities as the northern lights and nacreous clouds were the highlights of our stay. The hosts were very friendly, responsive and helpful.
