Waterfront vacation rentals in Mystic River

Great stay in Stony Creek Village with a view of Long Island Sound and short walk to the pier, Stony Creek Market (breakfast & lunch). I used the Library and went to services at the Stony Creek Congregational Church. Overall, a nice experience.

We will definitely stay here again. The apartment is pristine and decorated perfectly. We played records on the antique player and relaxed on the deck overlooking the Mystic River. Bed is very comfortable. Big roomy bathroom with a soaking bath. Fully equipped kitchen. Didn’t miss a TV. Assigned parking is a HUGE bonus. Aiden was great and polite and answered all of my questions promptly.

Beautiful location, love the the access to the lake as well to multiple activities in the private backyard. Great walking distance to the beach which was accessible at any time of day and night. Friendly environment, a lot of local moments throughout the day making the area felt alive even in off season. Close enough to the casinos, local restaurants and activities. Premises was quiet at night, didn’t hear other units other than light foot steps, as a light sleeper I had no problems having a good nights rest.

We had such a fun and memorable stay at this unique home! The layout was so interesting ,with a spiral staircase leading up to the attic, where there were two cozy rooms and a small library that we absolutely loved exploring. It added such a charming touch to the whole experience. The house was incredibly spacious and comfortable, with plenty of room for everyone to relax. The views of the beach were absolutely beautiful …waking up to that was such a treat! The owner was lovely -very pleasant, helpful, and gave us some great recommendations on things to do in the area, which we really appreciated. Overall, it was a wonderful stay in a one-of-a-kind house, and we’d absolutely love to come back again!

Great little spot. This rental has everything you need. Forget something-they got it. Very clean and modern with thoughtful touches. Had an extended stay here and extended for longer. 1 bedroom with loft that owner made into another bedroom for me. Loved it. Great deck, stunning lake view from all the windows. Owner very responsive to any needs. 100 percent recommend. Neighborhood lovely and quiet. Amazing respite.

This is our second time staying at this property. Four of us were visiting people in the area and The Millhouse is a great location to explore the area, with nice places to eat only steps away on Chester Center Main Street. The stream-side location makes it a very unique experience and the interior of the property is very nicely decorated and maintained.

I spent the weekend at this beautiful lakeside apartment. The apartment is attached to the main home, but it is very private. There is a sloped driveway, that leads to the house. There is plenty of parking at the top near the street, and an individual space for guests, down pretty close to the door where to check-in, so I didn't have far to bring my luggage to my vehicle. My stay was so peaceful and allowed me some rest and relaxation. People were boating, fishing, and swimming in the lake. I enjoyed getting some sunshine on the upper balcony. Mark and Tina are the perfect hosts! They are the nicest couple you will ever meet. They made me feel right at home, including my dogs. Communication was excellent as any requests via text were immediately answered, and they were very flexible. I wish my stay was longer. I am hoping my schedule will allow me to return and stay again in the future. Thank you, Mark and Tina, for a wonderful weekend. I hope to see you again!

Wonderful for a weekend with three young families. We enjoyed relaxing on the back deck with the unique view of the pond and passing trains, and walking downtown to the array of excellent food options. Comfortable beds, good shower pressure, plenty of towels, well stocked kitchen. The hosts made it easy to feel right at home

This is our second visit in the Recycle House. It’s such a lovely oasis. We love all the unique touches and creative uses of materials throughout the house. The location just steps from the charming town of Chester could not be better. The perfect CT weekend getaway!

Our stay here was amazing! So much attention to detail was put into every aspect of this home. It was spotless and very well maintained. We enjoyed being able to use the kayaks, paddleboards, and canoe. We never felt like something was missing and never had a hard time finding what we needed. It is such a quiet and peaceful area and we spent a lot of time just sitting by the water relaxing. We loved being able to have a fire right by the water as well. The downstairs game room/theatre was a blast as well. Overall I would 100% book a stay here in the future and highly recommend it.

This was our second stay. The house is cute and comfortable. Nice outdoor space with a sandy beach area and shallow lake entry. Jena is great to work with.

I went there to relax and to see and hear the ocean... it didn't disappoint... Not only sand and ocean waves, but I got a birds-eye view of a small members only marina (dealing mostly in sailboats). Plus the added enjoyment of watch boat traffic since we're close to NY and the islands. Plenty of beach to play on and constant sm wave action. Lots of restaurants, stores and Costco all within 15 minutes of the house if you need something. I would definitely return to enjoy this sanctuary. Sandy Y. Manchester CT

This stay was for a family gathering as my daughter graduated from North Kingstown on Thrusday. Tonya was an amazing hostess and the home was more than what we anticipated. we will most definitely utilize her home every time we visit! LOVE YOUR JOURNEY!

It was a very relaxing home surrounded by beautiful waterfront wildlife( a pair of swans and other birds ) and views. It was well worth the stay and I would like to stay there again and I would recommend it to family and friends in the future.

We had the best time the house is always amazing. We’ve stayed there before the yard is wonderful to play games with all your family. John and Cathy are amazing hosts. This was our second consecutive summer stay in their condo and it does not disappoint. The place and the amenities they provide are amazing and they are a wonderful couple who respects your privacy but are there for anything you need. I recommend anyone to stay here and know they would want to return. Thank you John and Cathy for making our second summer with you a fantastic vacation!

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Cliffside for our wedding weekend! Alice was very flexible with us, which we appreciated because getting married is chaotic enough LOL. Would highly recommend staying here. The unit was spotless and had a wonderful view. We could not have asked for a better stay!

We had a great stay at Julie’s place. There was a slight hiccup with check-in times but Julie was very communicative and sorted it out promptly. The place itself was great, beautiful waterfront views and a private beach. The weather wasn’t the best but we still made the most of it. The apartment was compact but big enough for 4 adults.

The stay was very peaceful, friendly neighbors. The scenery was great, Desiree was there for any concerns we had, and with timely response. I would anyone that want a pleasurable stay while in Norwich, this is the place to be. Thanks again, for a wonderful stay. William & Potreen

Great retreat for a long weekend. Enough space for family of four. Easy access to everything in the Greenport area. Mia was very responsive, and the place was great. We would stay here again!
