Monthly Rentals in Mýrdalshreppur

We loved our 4 night stay at Valley Guesthouse. The location is beautifully situated in a valley on a sheep farm just outside of the gorgeous town of Vik. Super comfortable bed (K size/2 twins pushed together), quiet, clean and with a kitchenette (2 burner induction stove, no oven)...perfect for a couple or small family. Our communication with Karl was great and he generously let us check in an hour early. There is a discount Kronan in town for groceries. Oil, vinegar and spices were at the unit. We saw quite a lot in this area, but our favorite hike was up the dirt road ~14 km (opened early on March 30) to the endpoint (PAKGIL CAMPGROUND) We took the ravine hike (purple) It was spectaclar.

If you are looking for a place close to Vik with a beautiful view, this is it. 7 minute drive to the Black Sand Beach and some local restaurants (Black Crust Pizza!!!). Highly recommended!

There is basically no accommodation in Vik, so you will be somewhere near this property. This place is super clean, easy to find, easy to access. Everything as described. 10 min or so into town. close to lighthouse. Spotted Puffins near there (up close). Lot's of recommendations, etc in the guide the hosts provide.

This was a spectacular location and very scenic from the balcony outside the apartment. Very convenient to Vic and restaurants and just up the hill from the Black Sand Beach. This was very clean as well. We would highly recommend and would stay here again.
