We completed this dream chalet with about 200 m² of usable space in 2020 to spend our vacations in the beautiful Lachtal together with our two children. Whether you're in the living room, at the dining table, on the terrace, in the garden or in the hot tub – everywhere you can enjoy a wonderful view of the surrounding mountain landscape.

Edelweiss Lodge

Experience alpine luxury at the Edelweiss Lodge in Hohentauern. Directly on the hiking and cycling trail. In winter only 100m to the ski slope of a small ski area. Experience special moments in this unique place to stay. Our vacation home is in a quiet location but is still very easily accessible because there is a very good road connection and direct connection to the bike path. Hiking trails into the forest also start right by the house. The house is very spacious and very close to nature inside and out. The spacious garden and terrace area offers tranquility, space and a good view of the adjacent meadows, forests and the farm.

Zirbitzhütte with sauna and fireplace

Our cozy Zirbitzhütte with sauna and fireplace is located right on the edge of the forest with wonderful views of the mountains of the Zirbitzkogel-Grebenzen Natural Park at an altitude of 1050 meters. Right at your doorstep, the hiking trails start, the snow-sure ski resort Grebenzen can be reached in minutes. On the spacious, partially covered terrace, you can hear the sound of the nearby mountain stream, sun worshippers will get their money's worth here.

Rustic alpine house with hot tub in a secluded location

The alpine hut is in a secluded location at an altitude of 1000 m and offers guests a magnificent view, surrounded by coniferous forests and lush alpine meadows, which are grazed by cattle and calves. The hot pot provides wellness moments in the middle of nature. During the stay, our guests can become chicken owners and enjoy the fresh organic eggs daily. And also a small indoor playground with table tennis, table soccer..... means there is no boredom.

Secluded yurt at the edge of the forest

Our yurt is hidden at the edge of the forest, offering a place of peace and seclusion. To the south, our summer pastures stretch out, where cows graze and trout leap in the ponds. To the west, our operational building, constructed in 1878, rises up with its historic cider press and adjoining horse stables. The secluded location, combined with our equine-assisted offerings, is perfect for a relaxing retreat in nature, romantic getaways, or extended hikes.

RelaxChalet

Our modern chalet in the beautiful Lachtal has 2 bedrooms for 4 to max. 6 people (additional sofa bed in one of the bedrooms), 2 shower rooms, a sauna, a cozy living-dining area with fireplace and a dream view of the mountains! The kitchen is equipped with the usual appliances, including a dishwasher and washer-dryer. Each bedroom is equipped with Swiss pine beds for restful and healthy sleep. In winter, we recommend snow chains!

This apartment is very close to the train station in Zeltweg and across the popular Steirerschlössl (this is where the drivers sleep) and a restaurant as well as the Cafe Wasserturm for breakfast. Free parking is available directly at the building. The Red Bull Circuit is reachable in only 8min by car and only 20 min by bike.
