This is our second stay here. It is the ideal place to get away from it all in the West of Ireland piece of tranquility surrounded by beautiful scenery and breathtaking beaches. No matter what the weather it entices you out to breath in the fresh air and peacefulness. The house has all the home comforts you need, with Keoghs bar, restaurant and shop a short 5 min drive. Clifden town is a 20 min drive with some wonderful bars, restaurants and craft shops. A day out at Klyemore Abbey is an interesting step back in history in beautiful setting. I would highly recommend Siobhan’s Ballyconneely getaway as a place to recharge, even the kids looked away from their phones and tablets to go explore. Will be back.

A lovely, quiet place to get away. So nice to just be able to walk down the lane and access miles of open grassland and beautiful beaches, often all to yourself. There are lots of livestock animals around so if you have a dog it will need to be on the lead but lots of scope for different walks.

An absolute gem. Home from home in this beautiful and magical location. Cosy cottage and welcoming host. Everything you need including hairdryer, all linen and kitchen supplies. Local pub and shop with great range in Ballyconneely and further excellent choice in the vibrant town of Clifden. Lots of local, stunning beaches to choose from. Spoilt for choice. Breathtaking scenery with coastal, mountain, lake, island and forest walks. Something for everyone. This has been one of our favourite family holidays. Can’t wait to be back. Thank you.
