It is a unique character-house right in the middle of Icelandic nature with a spacious living area, fully equipped kitchen and bathroom and four bedrooms accommodating six to seven people. The rooms are all comfortably furnished and lovingly decorated with details that will let you delve into Icelandic culture and tradition. From every nook, you can experience a beautiful view over the hills and valleys of Eastern Iceland (the windows are a little old, but they will be modernized in the summer).

We live about 400 m distance from Ásinn. Fully equipped kitchen, small sitting room, spacious bathroom (washing machine and dryer), 4 bedrooms. Good looking view, cairns, bird live, streams, family-friendly environment in peaceful nature.

Charming house in the countryside only 3,5 km from the village of Egilsstaðir. The house is well situated for those who want to visit the small and beautiful fjords in east Iceland. The house is equpped with geothermal heating system and is warm and nice in cold weather . It has 2000 liter hot tub ,with internal led lights, located on the terrace. 3 bedrooms ( 2x queen size + 1 single) nice bathroom with shower. Nice view to the town of Egilsstaðir and to mt.Snæfell. The apartment is located at the farm Hjartarstadir near the road (94) to Borgarfjordur, 18 km from the town Egilsstaðir. It's a brand new house with 5 studio apartments where each has seperated entrance and bathrooms for each apartment. In front of the house is a terrace and in each apartment is a little kitchenette with hod, zink and kitchenware for light meal. The house stands on a little hill near our farm where you can enjoy the view to the mountain and the countryside.

Beautiful, warm and cozy cottage with beds for up to 4 people. It's located in the countryside 18 km from the town Egilsstaðir on road 931. It's on the south side of the lake on the way to Hallormsstaður the biggest forest in Iceland. The next grocery store is in Egilsstaðir. Good paved road, passable all the year. Quiet, peaceful and beautiful landscape, nice hiking trails down to the lake or up to the hills, good place to see the northern lights in wintertime.

The cottage is on a small and quiet family run farm, 8 km to the town Egilsstaðir. These small houses are cozy and heated with geothermal energy, the cottages can be booked all year around. We provide linen, towels, tea and Coffee for no extra charge. The surrounding area consists of a river, trees, northern lights, beautiful nature and during the winter time you might even see some reindeers wandering around.

Small house 18 kilometers from the town Egilsstaðir. This is a sheep and horse farm and we live in the next house so we are always in the area. Perfect for 3-4 guests who wants to be alone from everything and discover the countryside of Iceland. We have sheeps, icelandic horses, dogs, cats, birds and more and you are welcome to take a look at everything! We recommend that you stay longer than one night.
