Spring fed pond on the property and plenty of space for hiking, exploring, wildlife viewing as well as sledding and snowshoeing in the winter. Sleds, snowshoes are not provided. Elk Spring cabin has lodge decor with many handcrafted furniture pieces. Large windows in the living room to take in the view of trees and Pike's Peak. It offers seclusion yet minutes from grocery stores and restaurants.

Red Door Cabin

While staying at Red Door Cabins you will enjoy breathtaking views, amazing rock formations, beautiful pine and aspen trees, a firepit, silence and stars. Have fun finding pieces of petrified wood, geodes, wild berries, and mushrooms on the property and surrounding area. You will get visited by deer, squirrels, maybe a family of foxes and occasionally local black bear or two. So, don’t forget your camera! THERE ARE TWO CABINS ON THE PROPERTY SO YOU MAY HAVE NEIGHBORS DURING YOUR STAY .

Why we are different? Our private road ends at the cabin (not in a neighborhood). You will be all alone on the top of a forest mountain to connect with nature. Important disclaimer: Please DO NOT book this cabin if you have concerns about snow and ice! This cabin is located at an elevation of about 8000 feet above sea level. During winter months a 4 Wheel Drive or All Wheel Drive vehicle or chains on your tires may be required to make it up the driveway to the cabin! The driveway is steep and although we pay for it to be plowed it is nearly impossible to keep all snow and ice off the driveway or walkways in between snow storms.

Newly remodeled cabin on 40 wooded acres. Accommodations up to 5 guests. Cabin is one of four built in the late 40's or early 50's. This is the last to be restored and now working to restore the 40 acres of forest and pond. This quiet location offers peace and serenity and a view of Pikes Peak. Deer, elk, fox, bear, coyote and even some moose have been seen on this property. Nearby Pike National Forest offers adventure for outdoor enthusiasts.
