We loved staying at Debra’s guest studio apartment. Amazing views of the ocean and forest from the entire unit. It had everything k needed to cook dinner. It is 5 minutes from the bay of islands marina and boat yard and was so nice to stay there while our sailboat was in the boatyard. Highly recommend and hope to be back.

We had a truly magical time staying at Karl’s hidden gem on the beach front, we were blessed with stunning sunrises and sunsets from one mountain to another over the sea, we felt right at home here, the beachfront was truly spectacular, private and the home was so cozy and so special to be in, we are very grateful for the experience, we had the best time with lots to do and explore in the area, we were constantly blown away by how beautiful and special it was

We really enjoyed our stay at Ange’s place. Unfortunately we couldn’t make it up one of the nights due to the stormy weather but Ange was so considerate and offered to let us stay the following night instead, however we were moving further north. An extremely warm and welcoming host :)

Top House is on its own headland, super private and quiet. Incredibly peaceful outside and cosy inside. Spotlessly clean and has everything you need. A lovely, light and airy abode with breathtaking 270 degree views over the bays and only 7 mins drive from Russell and 15 mins to the lovely Sage restaurant.

Very lovely spot tucked away from the main settlement area but still extremely close. Nice clean setup, with everything you’d need. Felt like a tropical getaway even in winter. We had a 2-night stay for a couple - and that was perfect. Saturday was super lovely - ran the loop track to whale bay, had a swim, and went for lunch in Tutukaka @ the marina - good pizza! Then drove around. Home to chill, up and ran about 2/3rds of the Whananaki track before checkout. All in all a lovely getaway!
