Fantastic experience!! The house and view are absolutely surreal. The pictures do not do the place justice! Such an amazing escape to the mountainside. We had an amazing time just relaxing in the house and looking at the views. Marta was a great host! She was incredibly responsive and so kind. Would absolutely recommend this location.

faithful to the description, we had a little issue that resolved quickly. Recommended one hundred percent to move around the Sacred Ribeira.

La Casita Gallega

We spent 5 days at Victoria's house and I only have good things to say. Victoria could not receive us personally, although she was always attentive by phone, and we were received by her father Victor. Very kind and friendly. We found the house super clean, in a quiet and cozy little town. Charming neighbors, a spectacular natural setting and a cuisine that will force us to return. We appreciate the breakfast they left us, which arrived every day, and that they let us bring our dogs. Totally recommended.

Charming house in the middle of the Galician countryside

IrinaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
The house is a modern jewel that preserves antique stone walls, with many details that give it a unique character. The location is spectacular, surrounded by nature and landscapes taken from the tale, which invite tranquility and exploration, and the hosts help you in all this. They are wonderful people who have had many details with us..., they brought us camper eggs and potatoes from the land, and prepared an extra mattress very nice for the child, making us feel at home. Although there were rainy days, we didn't spend anything cold with pellet stove and enjoyed breakfasts on the balcony with stunning views. Walking through the villages, mountains and forests of the Rairiz de Veiga was the best of our stay. This place is ideal for those looking for a retreat of the daily bustle in a deep rural Galicia. The attention to detail and warmth of the hosts made our experience unforgettable.Highly recommended! Will definitely be back.

Welcome to Gerês "Green view"

Everything was great & we got great recommendations for the area. Upon arrival, we met at a nearby cafe and were escorted to the accommodation. On site, we were very warmly welcomed and received the first information. After half the stay, we even got fresh towels. Unfortunately, two things are not apparent from the description: the view of the lake is obscured by trees & you have direct neighbors. But that didn't bother us & we would always come back!

"Forest House" in Branda da Bouça dos Homens

LizaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We stayed for one week in June with our dog. It was a wonderful experience: - Village: it's a tiny village with a few people. If you want to recover from the city noise it's a perfect place. There is no bars or shops, so be prepared and take all the necessary food with you. People are nice. There are a lot of cows! They are friendly and beautiful. - House territory: it was the most beautiful view from the house that I've ever saw - giant mountain in front of every window. Super calm. Territory has a fence, it was enough for our dog to stay inside but there are holes so be prepared if your dog tends to run away. There is a bbq outside. - House: it was just awesome - everything you need you will find: enough of blankets, pillows, comfortable coach, dishwasher. Cooking pans are not the best, but enough. I liked the interior very much - it's a lot of space in the living room, giant dining table, in one of the bedrooms you have mountain view. Strongly recommend. Thank you!

Pure Life Matos House

Thank you Tania for our amazing stay in Fafião!! We immediately felt at home and loved ever single thing. The guest book and Pin wall where all previous guests could leave their "personal message" was such a nice addition! The surroundings are beautiful (especially as seen from the jacuzzi ;)), and the local bars/restaurants/stores are run by the kindest people. Every single time we needed help, Tania responded immediately and with very detailed and useful answers! In case you are looking for a "remote" location where you can enjoy hiking during the day and relaxing at night, this really is the place for you. Once again thank you Tania for your hospitality, will definitely recommend you to anyone who wants to explore Peneda-Gerês :)
