Cozy Guesthouse Surrounded by Nature

Convene with nature while sitting on the tranquil deck of this secluded home close to Pasadena and downtown LA. The relaxing feel continues indoors, with high beamed ceilings, warm wooden floors, and colorful rugs. Furnishings are comfy and eclectic. For the convience of our guests, a crib is offered for a nominal fee. We offer a stand alone high speed internet connection dedicated just to the guesthouse. EV charging is available for the guest. The chargers are 240 volts level chargers We have a queen bed w/ a soft down comforter, a queen size sofa bed, a flat screen TV, modern appliances, and beautiful finishing touches from my family - such as fresh flowers! :) The guest house is 100 feet away from the main house. Guests will have plenty of space, their own modern kitchen, washing/drying machine, flat screen TV, a bathroom with a shower and plenty of parking right next to the guest house. My family is very friendly - we will be living across the lot at our house. Please feel free to chat with us - we've lived in LA a long time and are always happy to offer suggestions or advice. The neighborhood consists of houses built during the '50s and '60s, mostly ranch style houses with large lots. The house sits approximately 100 feet off the main street, at the end of the golf course. It is a very quiet neighborhood. Of course, you can park your car on our long driveway! The Gold Line is 2 miles south. It goes into LA downtown Union Station. From there are different subway or metro lines which go to Culver City, Santa Monica, Universal Studios, Long Beach There are hiking trails right outside the door. All guests staying more than a week get maid service every Friday. A baby cot/crib is available for guests who have a need for it at an addional cost of $25 per stay

Hi, I’m Lea. I hope our 180° Mountain View House can provide a pleasurable trip! We have two individual units with separate bathroom. Units are on opposite ends of the house with separate entrances. If you need separate rooms, both are available for rent. Both have same structure. Smoking of marijuana/any drugs is strictly prohibited! There will be a $200 fee charged for any evidence of smoking/drug use on the premise. Late check out is $50 for every 5 minutes past the check out time of 11AM.

Yoko’s place is a great spot for quiet, peaceful evenings against the backdrop of crazy LA. Don’t book expecting to be in “the center of the action” but do expect somewhere to step away and relax and be able to get a good rest. Yoko was an amazing host and was very responsive to provide information as needed. My trip was relatively short but I can’t think of anything else I would have needed here. The room was huge, with a private attached bathroom. For you (mostly) non-Americans, the bathroom has a Toto washlet 😎 was a nice little surprise that I wasn’t expecting. All-in-all I absolutely would stay here again and would highly recommend for all the reasons above and more.

It was a great stay. The host was pretty responsive and helpful. Neighbors were a bit too loud at night and the bathroom door was very hard to open beyond a point, but it was overall a good stay for a quick 2 night trip.

A charming place with kind, considerate, and friendly hosts. For someone who loves the sights and sounds of Nature, I found my stay enchanted. The room is cozy with a comfortable bed and a mini-fridge. It stays cool even without the air conditioning unit on. Lots of shade from magnificent trees. The outdoor bathroom is private and breezy with lots of space. If you love a hammock, I highly recommend laying in there being serenaded by songbirds and feeling the gentle breeze caressing your face :) I would definitely go back again when I’m in the area!

Quiet room beautiful Pasadena home

I only stayed for a night and later joined my friend on her leg of the trip, but I had a pretty good time. Audrey let me leave my luggage early and later after check-out while I went exploring, and was super helpful in lending me a phone charger (my mistake, i brought the wrong with me). Despite the heat, the room and bed were super comfy and the fan was truly a blessing.
