Vacation rentals with beach access in Mount Maunganui

Alec and Anna were exceptionally gracious hosts and provided much insight to the area and things to do. They treated me like family. My experience was amazing in every way.

Terrific stay at Kitrina’s place. The unit is spacious and ideal for a single traveler or couple. Perfect location steps away from the beach and with a grocery store across the street. Kitrina is a wonderful host and provided everything we needed for a peaceful stay. Will definitely return again as soon as possible. Highly recommend.

Thank you to these kind and generous hosts, they both were so easy to talk with and so helpful. It was a perfect place to have a break at, I just wish that I could have stayed for longer. Immense gratitude to them both, I wish them continued success in their hosting lives and thank them for the privilege of being able to stay in their home.

Beautiful Loft, cafe downstairs, cool design, close to everything in the mount (5-10mins walking) overall really cool vibe + Josh is a legend - highly recommend especially if you're working online as there's two desks here, plenty books to dive into and perfect vibe for recording, building and creating!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Epic location and the apartment was gorgeous. We would love to stay again in the summer time. Unfortunately the swimming pool was empty for our stay- I believe out of Holly’s control, but next time maybe. Thanks heaps Holly!

Exactly as described, even with the road side parking it was great to be greeted by such a friendly dog and the place was quiet and relaxing. Perfect place to call base while in the area.

Thanks Mary offering this great location and let us store the luggage in her house after we checked out the apartment. Mt maunganui is a tourist spot and there are plenty of things to do. If you like nature, can go swim, climb up the mountain, enjoy sunrise and sunset. During winter time, there are also plenty of tourist visit. During weekend is quite noisy and crowded. Even stay in the indoor also have the noise from the street and hot pool opposite. Also, there are some wake up alarm noise from the nearby apartment that also waked me up and disturbed my sleeping. Overall, the apartment is very good and there are great nature environments nearby!

We had a lovely time and there is plenty to like about Kristie's place. Obviously the proximity to the beach but also the outdoor shower setting and large porch were standouts for me. We were travelling with 3 large dogs so the fully fenced front yard was great. Very clean and well presented.

Really appreciate Hosts like Macina who offers fully fenced pet friendly property for dog owners like us have opportunity to travel with our furbabies. Even though it's a pet friendly airbnb, we couldn't smell anything when we entered the house. The house itself was also very clean and tidy. The beds and linen were so comfortable. The kitchen was equipped with most of the stuff we needed, so we really enjoyed our stay. Papamoa beach was in walking distance and it was BEAUTIFUL. Thanks again to Macina for being so helpful and friendly. We highly recommend this cozy airbnb, it's much more than what we have expected.

The cottage is in a great location. It was smaller than expected and unfortunately we were unable to sit outside but otherwise the cottage was a great place for a relaxing vacation. Would recommend and stay there again. Thanks Sharon.

The place was nice & tidy and looked exactly like the pictures. The host was super responsive, which made communication with them easy. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to spend some time in Tauranga & specifically Papamoa.

We stayed 2 nights and loved the place. It was private and quiet at the end of a street. Very cosy little place but lounge is very spacious. Great water pressure, lounge suite was so comfy it put me to sleep one night. Central to the Beach, Bayfield mall and the Mount. Alana explained everything well. Would definitely come back. If I had to pick out any improvements. 1) It would be great if there was a drier to go with washing machine 2) I struggled in the rain and dark opening the key box after entering pin, (lucky my 11 year old came to the rescue lol). Maybe one extra photo to show how the little door folds down.

This place is absolutely AMAZING!!! So clean, comfy beds and such a beautiful view. We absolutely loved the thoughtful touches. Would highly reccomend this place to anyone!

We absolutely loved our stay!!! The apartment itself is so spacious, beautifully decorated and the kitchen had everything we needed. Beds were very comfortable and the shower water pressure was great. The location was close to everything- we walked everywhere the weekend. Will most definitely be back - this is the perfect place for a weekend in the Mount!

The flat is conveniently located near a lot of shopping and restaurants. The back of the apartment complex has direct access to the beach. We had a great stay.

The apartment was perfect. Good underground parking. Close to the venue we were attending. Just a couple of minutes walk to the city centre and restaurants. Very quiet. Arihia and Char were excellent hosts.

Great spot! Close to main beach or Pilot Bay and trail up mountain. Easy to walk to shopping and grocery store, or get dinner on the main strip. Comfortable and clean and great natural light.

Excellent location. Close to everything. Clean and tidy, well lived in, apartment. Very small 2nd bedroom (office size) straight off the lounge. Perfect for us though, we enjoyed our stay. Brooke was a great- excellent comms.

Lovely peaceful apartment, with lovely views. We were visiting relative so didn’t spend too much time in the apartment as we were visiting family but it was perfectly kitted out, the kitchen had everything you would need to cook.

We had such a lovely stay at Deb’s apartment! It was one of the best Airbnbs we have stayed at, and we have stayed at many. It was beautifully laid out, very comfortable, spacious kitchen and the proximity to the beach was ideal. The space was family friendly, and we felt very at home.
