And a big fireplace. 3 bedrooms + 5 sleeping places on floor/beds on the attic (most suitable for kids due to limited head space) There is 2 bathrooms. One of them is connected to the master bedroom. Wind down and enjoy this retreat far away from trafic noise and hectic life style. The place can only be reached by boat from Reine to Vindstad. When the local ferry leaves in the afternoon you can enjoy the tranquility and solitude. It is a perfect place for hiking, relaxing, reading and meditation.

Hamnøy - Big Apartment - Amazing - Marvellous view

Best location in Hamnøy One guests feedback requires an explanation: In extremely bad weather with a lot of rain, the guests had the veranda door open. My caretaker asked them to close the door, but they were unable to do so. The caretaker helped, and at the same time asked the guests to wipe up a lot of water on the floor. This was poorly received and we received one star. Normally we get 5 stars.

Cozy Original Rorbu with sauna and hot tub

One of the very few original fishermen's cabins still around. It is more than 150 years old, but has been re-done and is in very good condition. The timber walls offers genuine ambience, yet the cabin also offers conveniences such as a sauna, bathroom and modern kitchen. The rorbu is most suitable for a couple or a family with 2 children.

The house is located "in the middle" of Lofoten, approx. 45 min to Svolvær and approx. 35 min to Leknes. Fantastic location if you want to explore Lofoten. The road outside is not a main road, so no traffic.
