The house is located in a side road outside the tourist traffic in Lofoten with fantastic views of Sørvågvatnet and the mountain with many attractive destinations, all within walking distance from the house. Within walking distance there are also great restaurants, cafés, galleries, museums, grocery stores and a variety store. Take a jog around Sørvågvatnet, a visit to the gapahuken and finish with a swim on the beach, where the thermometer can rise to well over 20 degrees in good weather periods.

You’ll be surrounded by dramatic green peaks, the open water, and the raw, unspoiled beauty of Norwegian nature.

A cozy cabin that stands on stilts in the sea. From here you have magnificent views of the Lofoten Mountains and the sea. It is only a few minutes walk to great nature experiences along the sea, to mighty mountain and water areas with marked hiking trails, or to a shorter hiking trail around Sørvågvannet. In the cabin you can sit inside, or well wrapped up outside on the bench, and watch the spectacular and changing light and weather conditions. Welcome!

A few meters from the Atlantic ocean, surrounded by mighty mountains and with a view towards the beautiful islands - Værøy - our cabins are located in a quiet corner of the village. The cabins were renovated in 2024 and offers a good standard and super comfortable beds. Here you can enjoy warm, beautiful summer days or experience the northern lights from September to March. Eagles come by every day and orcas can be seen in the bay from time to time!

Nice and quiet residential area. Suitable for singles or couples.

Rorbu Ballstad, Fisherman's Cabin Strømøy

Enjoy your stay in Lofoten in a fishermans cabin with everything you need. The cabin is new, modern, and lays right by the ocean and mountains. The cabin is equipped with everything you need, with a large, fully equipped kitchen, four bedrooms, a living room with a beautiful view, 1,5 bathrooms with shower and washing machine, and a dining room with room for the whole family. Nice fireplace in the livingroom on the second floor.

Rorbu in Nusfjord, Lofoten

Beautiful cabin right by the water with seaview and surrounded by mountains. Situated in Nusfjord, a small fishermans village, with a nice resturant in walking distance. There are great hiking trails just outside, and you can catch fish from the dock. It is possible to pay and go out to sea with a big boat, or buy fishingcards for the waters abowe.

Cozy Original Rorbu with sauna and hot tub

One of the very few original fishermen's cabins still around. It is more than 150 years old, but has been re-done and is in very good condition. The timber walls offers genuine ambience, yet the cabin also offers conveniences such as a sauna, bathroom and modern kitchen. The rorbu is most suitable for a couple or a family with 2 children.
