I always shoot to stay in Airbnbs that have incredible design and beautiful surroundings. This was the MOST INCREDIBLE Airbnb we ever stayed at! From location, to layout, decor and the host. I worked from the dinning room table and the recliner upstairs in front of the windows and it just feels like you’re in a boat! Waking up in front of the windows is also something else! Clive’s place is spotless in every single detail. Northern Maine is well worth a visit as it seems to be one of the last paradise places left in the US. Clive the host is an amazing human as well. I recommend this place with my eyes closed.

We stayed here for our wedding night and it was wonderful! Cozy, comfortable, and clean. The place was adorable and Kristen was a wonderful host! She was very communicative and accommodating for such a special occasion. Highly recommend!

Lakeside retreat for your Maine adventure!

AnastasiaRating, 5 stars22 months ago
We were so surprised upon arriving at the beauty of the property that this house is on. The babbling creek flowing into the lake was stunning. My husband and I spent each morning on the private doc, appreciating the beautiful surroundings. The house may be in a location with horrible phone and internet service, but Max's wifi works great, and the house has a TON of stuff to do and occupy your time with from a classic Nintendo 64 to tons of other games, books, etc. Every room had something new to explore in it. There were also a ton of random essentials provided like feminine products, hair dryers, and extra toothbrushes. The guidebook in the house was amazingly thorough with TONS of great suggestions. Great private location. Truly a great way to experience Maine. Thank you, Max!! PS: there is an AMAZING waterfall with an easy hike to it through the woods only FIFTEEN minutes from the house!!! SO cool!!

Lakeside getaway in Embden on trails, free kayaks!

AnthonyRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
The place was great. It was quiet and peaceful. We had use of the kayaks, unfortunately, the weather wasn't great. It was great to sit out by the fire. The beds were comfortable and Angel was a great host. I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to others.

We had a wonderful stay at Alaina's house. Amazing view of Sugarloaf Mountain. The house was well stocked, super clean, and very comfortable for the 10 of us. The welcome card and basket of treats were a great surprise. Definitely recommend Alaina's house for an enjoyable trip to The Loaf!

Camping with with rustic charm!

ClaireRating, 5 stars13 months ago
Beautiful and private place to getaway! The constant sound of the stream is so relaxing and you are surrounded by lots of land so you feel tucked away in your own little happy place. Had all the amenities that made it a “glamping” experience which is exactly what we were looking for. A little tricky to find at first so keep a close eye out, and be sure to bring your own bedding (except for sheets) Would definitely recommend!!
