Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Mortain-Bocage

David was very warm and welcoming and was quick to respond to any questions we had. We loved the house which was very spacious and comfortable for five of us. The garden was a delight with beautiful roses in bloom and it was quiet and sheltered to sit out in and listen to the birdsong. It was quite one of the best Airbnb’s we have stayed in.

A real slice of heaven… We loved the barn! The perfect place to recharge your batteries in the heart of nature, and enjoy the surrounding towns and Mont Saint Michel without being in the middle of the crowd all the time. This little house has been tastefully renovated, it's warm and you feel so good there. It is even more beautiful than the photos, what a surprise when arriving in the room… The garden is beautiful and very relaxing. And the hosts are lovely. Go there without so much as a second thought!

I recommend this accommodation, a magnificent house with a thatched roof and a very nice quiet place in the countryside, very pleasant for 2 people and very well maintained. I would recommend this rental. The owner is very friendly.

We felt at home!! Staying with Véronique and Jean Jacques was just FANTASTIC. I can't describe it with another word. There were four of us with a small child and nothing was missing. The accommodation is superbly equipped and offers everything your heart desires and yet if something is missing or you have a concern, the two hosts are immediately there for you. We were even greeted with homemade sausages and other delicacies and Jean Jacques asked us if we wanted him to bring us fresh oysters, since he himself travels to the surrounding markets with his food truck. Especially with children, the accommodation is perfect because you have the huge fenced garden with swings, toys and a large meadow at your free disposal and all to yourself. Excursions to nearby attractions are also possible without driving far. We will definitely be back and can 100% recommend this fantastic house

Very nice place. Quiet outside, except for the birds chirping! Extremely well-appointed rustic interior with all the necessary amenities and comforts. It felt like we were in a very cozy Normandy cottage. Our hosts greeted us with kindness and gave us tips for activities, even though we already had some goals. The exchanges were marked by simplicity and cordiality. There is a cottage and adjoining guest rooms and it is also a good address. We would highly recommend this place.

The location of this accommodation is perfect for discovering the bay of Mont Saint Michel. The house and large garden are very well maintained. Everything was perfect, we didn't miss anything. Dominique is a very friendly, pleasant and helpful host. She told us about the surroundings very quickly, and gave us all the information we needed before and during our stay. Very attentive to our needs. We thank Dominique very much for her hospitality and all her small touches that made our stay unforgettable. We felt right at home and our exchanges were very friendly. We'll be happy to go back!

Eva's apartment is great!!! It's beautiful, with character. Very well placed, clean, well equipped. Eva is adorable, accommodating! I would recommend it 300%.

Beautiful apartment close to the beach, large and bright. The jacuzzi is comfortable and a real plus that we really enjoyed! The large bedroom is beautiful, but the light enters in the morning through the ceiling, it is better to have a mask on the eyes if you prefer to sleep in the dark :). Be sure to read the listing as well, since sheets and towels are not included and are available at an additional cost, which I found surprising (I missed the information in the listing text and did not appreciate it).

We had a wonderful short break whilst visiting family in the area. The property is very well equipped and homely, but unfortunately we did not have the chance to enjoy all that was on offer due to being so busy exploring. The town is lovely and with easy parking outside the property, we were able to make the most of the location. It will be our ‘go-to’ for future visits.

Laura’s studio location is perfect for our schedule after a long day visiting the Normandie area on our way to Loire valley. Communication is concise and seamless. Amenities in the studio matches exactly the descriptions provided. We love how the view from the window overlooks Vitré chateau. We got to chat a little bit with one of the neighbors which was really nice! We also must mention that the mattress is sooo good providing us with a 😴restful sleep for the next day ☺️. Another huge plus for us is definitely the free parking that it offers right in front of the property.

Great stay in this accommodation😍. The apartment was clean and very well-equipped, exactly as shown in the photos. The neighborhood is quiet and pleasant, with shops and restaurants nearby. Yoann was very responsive, which made our check-in very easy. I highly recommend this place and will not hesitate to come back on a future visit!

Family stay for 3 nights, very friendly house, everything is clean and nickel. Unfortunately, the tenants before us had damaged the house, but the owners knew how to repair it in record time. Very friendly setting, nice pool, kitchen, living room, spacious dining room, we were 14 adults and no problems. Likewise for the beds, we were all comfortable without being on top of each other. Important point for children, once the electric gate is closed, there is no risk of them leaving the property. Thanks for the stay; I recommend it!

Despite the rain we had a pleasant stay in this rental where the setting was worked with care (furniture, light fixtures and heathered paintings). The children really enjoyed the treehouse and picked up the chestnuts from the large garden. We needed the fires in the fireplace that we especially love in the fall. For the rest, the rental is well located (close to the beach, site visits, rather quiet area).

We had a great time with the family for the Christmas holidays. The house was perfectly true to the description, as well as the promised view, no disappointment! moreover the house had been decorated for Christmas! the house is large and very warm and really conducive to family gatherings! in addition the hosts are very responsive and friendly , we had a small power outage at 10pm which was fixed very quickly with Sebastien's assistance. The game room and hot tub are really a plus , as well as the large fireplace that allows long cocooning evenings in the living room . We'll definitely be back!

Very high-quality accommodation, which matches the descriptions, allowing you to have a great stay. The beds are very comfortable, the hot tub is very large and the kitchen is very functional. 2 km from the beaches and huts of Gouville, no complaints
