Guests can enjoy 10 hectares of greenery and calm, occupied by 3 horses, 2 donkeys and 1 Scottish ox. Small adjoining forest. Garden furniture and barbecue available. Possibility of loan of bicycles and helmets. Pellet stove 2 km from the village with shops (bakery, butcher, grocery, pharmacy, hairdresser, tobacco, newspapers, restaurant) Starting point for hiking trails, mountain bike circuit. 15 minutes from Bagnoles de l'Orne, spa town. 15 km from Flers, 10 km from the Andaine Forest.

The 17th Century Manor House

Set in the picturesque village of Villechien within easy reach of the market towns of Mortain and Saint Hilaire Du Harcouet. This charming Manoir was built in 1743 and has been sympathetically renovated, still retaining many of the original features. The charming accommodation is available for bookings up to 4 people. A breakfast basket can be ordered and dropped in for the morning at an additional cost. Please let us know before arrival if you would like details.

The remote house sits alone in the hills with no neighbors and has a garden with cherry, apple and walnut trees. Explore the lush green grasslands and charming French hamlets right from the driveway. The house is within easy reach of the Normandy beaches, national parks, castles and medieval cities. A basic retreat for lovers of nature and peace.
