Great place to stay!! Everyone is very friendly and the views are incredible.

My fiance and I stayed at Casa de Bahamas for a full week and absolutely loved everything about the trip and the house! The space is very roomy and could easily fit more people. The house is conveniently located ~20 minutes from the Stella Maris Airport and a short drive to the grocery store and other popular destinations on the island. The home itself is very well kept and fully stocked with everything you need for a beach vacation (sunscreen, towels, bugspray, kayaks, paddleboards, floaties). The kitchen is also equipped with everything you need. We were blown away by the beach and the natural beauty of the outdoor space. The island itself is very quiet and you practically have the beach to yourself - it's a perfect spot to unplug and get away from the hustle and bustle. We met many ocean friends including, starfish, sea turtles and a stingray! A few things not noted: - The outdoor space has a firepit that included a bundle of firewood - the stars at night were the best we have ever seen! - Dmitri connected us with a rental car option about a week before our trip which was very convenient - highly recommend renting a car, be sure to bring cash to pay for the car rental. - The island and the home are surrounded by natural beauty and with that comes outdoor friends - sand mites at dawn and dusk, we also ran into small scorpions outside. We didn't have a problem with bugs indoors and the house is stocked with bug spray. - The flowers and bird feeders bring around tons of hummingbirds which was a lovely surprise. - The pool is deeper than we thought and is a saltwater pool which we liked. We highly recommend Casa de Bahamas and can't wait to return!!!

Wow is all I can say! Exceeded expectations!! We can’t wait to come back!!

We spent 4 amazing weeks escaping COVID lockdowns on the beach at Casa Jumbo. The house is magical. A cook’s kitchen with all the tools you might need. Privacy and space for a larger group ( we were 8 and all had their space). Wifi worked fine while we all worked and attended virtual school. The porch was the perfect place to linger, gather and watch the ocean. The beach was great for snorkeling and walks. Safe for kids to be independent and free (ours are 6 and 8). Great big screen movies. Comfy beds for afternoon naps. Really can’t think of a better spot. Long Island is remote and a bit wild which we loved. The locals were super friendly. We rented a car and a bot with Emma’s help and did lots of exploring. Really was great for the family. Tips: bring cash (hard to get cash on the island). Bring strong bug spray (the sand fleas / little bitters are bad on low wind days). Book travel with Marty Fox. Make sure to try: Tiny’s, Chez Pierre’s, Cape Santa Maria, Max’s Conch Cafe, Deans Blue hole, Moonshine Bar, the Snakes, and Santana’s. Emma and Franck are amazing hosts and wonderful company. Their friends were also fab. We felt lucky they were in the boat house during our stay. We will be back for sure.
