Beach house vacation rentals in Morehead City

My family and I had a great three night stay. We’ve always wanted to stay right on the ocean and it was so worth it. The house is spacious but still cozy. We travelled with our 8 month old and used the high chair and baby gate. We loved watching the sun come up over the ocean each morning. Emily was communicative and friendly. Would definitely return!

The beachfront location was amazing. We really enjoyed spending most of our time on the beach and the deck. The house is small, but if you intend to spend most of your time outside, it's perfect. The house shows it's age in a few areas, but this didn't affect our stay. The A/C kept it nice and cool during some hot humid days. The deck was perfect for morning coffee, watching a storm roll in, hanging out in the evenings, and most importantly private beach access! Most of the surf city shops and restaurants were only a 5 minute drive away. Overall, this was a great spot for a relaxing stay at the beach. We would book it again.

This was a perfect house for our six adults and four young children. Beds were very comfortable, kitchen was very well supplied, the couch was super comfy, and having the beach access and deck views was amazing!

If you are looking for a private and peaceful location for a small family, this is it! The house was exactly as described and you cannot get any closer to the beach! It was perfect for us and our son because it was so close that taking breaks was a breeze. We like to do a mix of cooking and eating out. The kitchen was fully stocked and the location was within 7 miles of some really awesome restaurants and ice cream parlors. We found so many sea shells and it was so peaceful and quiet. Like they say, it is not close to public access and is on a dead end street so we never had to worry about being overcrowded. It was like having the beach to yourself with the exception of the few families whose houses were by you. Both the other properties were far enough away so you aren’t stacked on top of each other. We will definitely stay again and recommend this home to anyone. George and Brenda were great! If you want to be on the beach and have a relaxing location, look no further! This is it!

Dune it right was AMAZING! My wife and I had a fantastic weekend. House was just footsteps away from the beach! Everything was extremely clean. The host Carrie was awesome and very responsive. Would recommend a stay here to anyone! Thanks Carrie! Can’t wait to come back and stay longer.

Loved the location. I wasn't sure about everyone in our group liking being so close to the "hubbub", but that ended up being what something we really liked about the place. Lots of things to do that are walkable. Shops, restaurants, bars, coffee houses, a beautiful walkway along the intracoastal waterway, a kids playground... And the view can't be beat! Well stocked kitchen- like truly everything you could possibly need. Lots of seating on the deck. All the things! Mom was over the moon about her 90th birthday celebration.

We love staying at this place! This was our third visit and won’t be our last. Who can resist the large windows overlooking the Sound, the smell and feel of the water and the breeze? The screened in porch, especially when a rain shower came through, was a wonderful place to hang out, have coffee and enjoy the day. I called this our bluebird visit as there were so many around the Cottage. Watching the fishing boats, egrets and pelicans is such a simple but welcome pleasure. So many great memories to take away!

Dot’s Spot was the spot for a restful weekend visiting family in New Bern. A 10 minute ride into downtown, but felt like we were in the country once on John’s property. The house was perfect for my husband and I with our pups. Fenced in backyard was an added bonus. Easy walk down to the river, although our schedule didn’t allow for us to take advantage of the amenities available on the water. House was clean and comfortable. We will definitely stay here again when visiting New Bern.

We had a fantastic stay at Michelle’s place. The house and amenities exceeded our expectations. Having rented quite a few places in the Topsail/Surf City area, my wife and I agreed that this was a top favorite. Will certainly look here for future stays.

We are so very thankful to have been at Jenn and Ian’s home during our military move and house hunting. We experienced no less than absolute kindness and consideration, and all aspects of our stay were such a respite! We have a large family and pets, and each of us was not only comfortable and easily accommodated in the house layout, but also found plenty to do to occupy our downtime. The kitchen was well stocked, everyday supplies were readily available in ample provisions, and communication with the hosts was seamless and always a pleasure. We would not only highly recommend this home to other guests; we would be more than happy to stay again!

We loved Doug’s place so much! One of the best Airbnb stays that we’ve ever had. Hands down the most well stocked kitchen I’ve ever encountered. Everything is labeled and it’s super easy to find what you need. The home is spacious, lovely, super clean, and a very relaxing place. We made some great family memories and I’m not sure we’ll ever find another beach rental that we like as much. Quick walk to the beach and the most responsive, accommodating host. We loved Emerald Isle and hope we can come back to Doug’s Place soon.

We had a great stay at Haylee's place. The Pointe is such a special location on Emerald Isle. The property is located in a quaint and convenient neighborhood, close enough to take advantage of the peacefulness that The Pointe offers, as well as the heart of Emerald Isle. We enjoyed the fresh air coming from the various decks and the amenities provided. Having access to the golf cart made trips to the beach a breeze! Comfortable beds and furniture, clean space, quiet location. We'll be back. Highly recommend!

Cannot say enough wonderful things to describe Melissa's attention to my family's every needs and questions. I don't do AIRBNB that often and Melissa was so immediate to any questions that we had. Melissa made my family's stay feel pampered and special. My wife and I came in from California to see our Daughters and Grandkids who live near Emerald Isle and we could not have had a better stay. The house was better than the pictures, especially the pool area with the palm tree vibe, we all felt like we were in the tropics. The family spent hours in and around the pool rather than time by the Ocean. The air conditioning during the incredible humidity made meals and down time absolutely the best. The inside space and decorations in each room was perfect. My wife was overjoyed with seeing our family and the house accommodations. Melissa and rental made this old soldier's vacation perfect. This is the perfect place to go with a group of friends or family. It comfortably fit 5 and had everything we were looking for. The house was very clean and had lots of amenities. The beach access is right by the house which made carrying items to and from the beach very convenient. It’s also a short 2 mile drive away restaurants and other places surf city offers. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience and highly recommend booking here!

I travel frequently, and out of all the hosts I’ve encountered, Laura truly stands out. She is incredibly warm, kind, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure your stay is as comfortable as possible. The location was perfect, just a 10-minute walk to the beach. Grocery stores were only a 5-minute drive away, and there were plenty of charming ice cream shops nearby to explore. The house itself was in pristine condition, beautifully decorated, and the kitchen was spotless. I also appreciated the fenced-in backyard, which made it easy and safe to let my dog out whenever needed. This was hands down the best Airbnb experience I’ve ever had, thanks to Laura and her lovely daughter. Their hospitality and thoughtful touches made my stay feel truly special. I can’t recommend this place enough!

Thank you so much for an unforgettable spring break! Emerald Isle was the perfect getaway—so close to the beach and just a short drive to Beaufort, where we loved the Saturday farmers market and rooftop dining at Moonrakers. We also had some amazing meals & drinks at Fish Hut Grill, The Trading Post, and Saltwater Grill—each one a highlight. Recommend the golf cart since the surrounding area is golf cart friendly. There is vehicle parking down the road a bit and easy access to the beach. Typical pay by hour/day routine and there was plenty of parking, so definitely weigh out your options. The home was beautiful, clean, and welcoming. Loved the backyard play area for the kids and loved the deck for morning coffees. Marco and Melissa, your hospitality made all the difference. And a very warm and special thank you to Mia for being such a wonderful friend to Allie—she made this trip even more memorable. We’ll always remember this stay. Hope to return soon.
