Small accommodation well located in the small town of Montrésor, quiet and cute. The bedroom and bathroom are nice, everything is clean. The kitchen is really small, so for eating on the go. I would recommend this place, See you soon:)

Extremely comfortable rural gite, excellent walks for the dog from the front door, well appointed property, beautiful old building with historic features, local village was very pretty with really good amenities, well positioned for visiting places. Wood burner good for evenings and wood provided. The host was wonderful and lived next door. Available for help if required. He and his wife were super helpful with local contacts when my partner required medical help.

Montresor - peaceful haven with breathtaking views

MeganeRating, 5 stars10 months ago
Stay at Agy's as part of a nearby sports competition, we couldn't have been better off than in this charming stone house where everything was impeccable. Our dogs were able to enjoy the very large garden, we did the same for several large tables. An extremely relaxing and enjoyable stay. Agy, our host, welcomed us extremely warmly and we thank her. A must-see accommodation in beautiful Montrésor.

Subleine Pavilion

It was wonderful to stay in a home connected to the history of the Loire area and its architecture. We loved the elegant, tall windows, the high ceilings, the wide hallways, the fire places, the lovely lounge and dining rooms, the views of the climbing roses from the bedrooms along the back side of the house, the spacious, main bedroom and the large garden with it comfortable furniture. We ate outside and enjoyed the garden. The kitchen is pretty but a little narrow for a couple of people to work in there at the same time. It is well equiped, with everything you need to prepare meals. The main bathroom is spacious. The second bathroom is bath only with shower attachment in the bath. It was fine for us. The house is decorated with soft, pastel wall paper and is quite sparse in its decoration which I loved because I could enjoy the structures of the home without them being hidden by too much decoration. We loved our stay and would stay again. Carol also kindly looked after us.
A terrace space features a wooden floor and is furnished with a small round table and two pink chairs. The view includes a neighboring church with a tall steeple and lush greenery surrounding the area. Large glass doors provide access to the interior.

Private Stone Cottage w/ Pool

BrettRating, 5 starstoday
This beautiful cottage is out in the middle of the country with birdsong during the day and quiet nights. It’s still in between many major destinations in the Loire Valley. Central location with lots of good grocery stores and we made lots of our meals at the cottage. For those wanting to eat out there are lots of great restaurants within 30 minutes. The cottage was even cuter in person. The bed was firm but cozy. Bathroom was large with a great shower. You have a private patio overlooking beautiful fields, which we enjoyed in the afternoons and for watching sunsets. The pool is a shared space. When you are using it, you won’t see the hosts or feel intruded upon. They make use of it in the mornings and later in evening when you’re not using it. Karen is available for suggestions or to help you with your itinerary and she is a very nice person. You’ll enjoy this beautiful retreat!
