The landlord is very warm and friendly. They speak Chinese and English. There is a dog in the room. If there are no outsiders, the dog is very quiet. The door will be locked around 11 o'clock in the evening, so please inform the landlord in advance if you have nightlife plans.

This was a fantastic stay. This home is far away from the hustle and bustle, and very peaceful. Their horses and dogs love to come up and say hi. Norma and Patrick have continental breakfast set up for the guests, and they have experience with hosting since the very early days of Airbnb. Getting packages delivered from Amazon was a breeze here. Also, Civil War battlefields are in proximity to this home. I found some rigorous hiking trails and feasted at great restaurants afterwards. During my stay I learned a lot from Patrick about Civil War history.
