Cottage in Blacksburg, Virginia

Robin ForsythRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Jean's cottage was perfect for our sons' VT graduations weekend. It was exciting to drive down the mountainside and arrive at the cottage which was immaculate and has a truly stunning view from the deck. We were surrounded by bird sounds, deer in the vineyard, and an ever changing light and skyline. Very private, and yet, it was a quick drive to downtown Blacksburg and all the crowded venues we attended before returning to this sanctuary! We enjoyed our stay here immensely and hope to return soon! Thank you.
A charming entrance is showcased with a staircase leading to the elevated porch, framed by white railings and decorative posts. Seasonal decorations, including pumpkins, flowers, and hay bales, create a welcoming outdoor space. Lush greenery and colorful flowers add to the inviting atmosphere.

Tiki Joe's

KathrynRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Joe and Debra are both so kind! We've stayed with them twice- once for a long (3 month) stay and once for a weekend, and both were great! They are very considerate and offered to help us several times because of the snow this weekend. I'd always highly recommend a stay at Tiki Joe's because it's comfortable, unique, and nearby some really cool little spots off the beaten track!

This Airbnb is in an absolutely stunning location. We stayed here for my daughter‘s graduation from Virginia Tech and it’s a 30 minute drive from campus. It is down some windy mountain roads, but the views are spectacular. The apartment is exactly as described; everything was clean and comfortable. I highly recommend this apartment. The host was super responsive and if we are ever back in the area, we would definitely stay here again.

The Gardener's Cabin at Bent Oaks Manor

KelseyRating, 5 stars6 days ago
Perfect place to stay for our hiking trip. The location was not far from some great food and breweries as well. And near many parks. The snacks in the room were very helpful after a long day hiking. Internet worked great and was able to watch tv. AC cooled perfectly.

The apartment was nice and clean, close the river. We didn’t know there wasn’t a TV. We should have noticed it I guess. It wasn’t a problem for us. It was a new ce place to stay, and dog friendly.

*Guest Cottage, *Hot Tub* Loft style sleeping

AndreaRating, 5 stars4 days ago
The house was immediately welcoming upon entry with plenty of space for a large family gathering (though we arrived as only three of us). The massive table and kitchen was well laid out. The upstairs was a fun set up with its five or six different beds. We all got to choose the one that fit our personalities the best (and there were plenty of options to choose from). This morning before checking out we saw some baby deer frolicking and chasing each other around outside in the trees while we drank our coffee. If we have the opportunity we will absolutely rent this place again for another family trip. Thank you Amanda for the perfect little experience in the middle of our road trip!

Boho Bungalow

JulianaRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
Great place to stay. Clean and spacious. The house had everything you could need for a short stay- which was a great bonus. Clear directions from renters. The outdoor space was also nice- the fence was mostly secure but your pup may be able to wiggle under the gate if determined. The immediate area was residential, with a few restaurants, grocery stores and pharmacies within a mile or so. The neighborhood had some sidewalks on side streets and more car traffic than expected.

Unique Historic Home

ElizabethRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Elizabeth was so helpful and accommodating with our evolving arrival situation and a change in our pet situation. She made our arrival so much less stressful! The place is a great location, peaceful and quiet, but very close to downtown. The neighborhood is lovely, and right across the street from Evie’s which is a fabulous bakery and bistro. If you are traveling with pets, the set up is wonderful. It’s spacious and easy to have your pets there. There is also a desk and working area if anyone needs to “work from home” while traveling. The beds were also quite comfortable. Elizabeth’s place is a quaint, unique, historic building that gives you a great SW Roanoke experience while traveling with your pets!

Sweet Serenity. short drive to the trail & river

MikeRating, 5 stars2 months ago
This was our second stay at Lynn's place to visit our VT student within the year. We came back because the space is beautiful, clean, comfortable, and allows us space away from the hustle and bustle of Blacksburg and Christiansburg, while still being close enough! Bonus, if you've forgotten ANYTHING (because it is a bit off the beaten path), Lynn has thought of it and has you covered! Lynn is incredibly responsive and truly wants to make sure her guests have the best visit. We will keep coming back :)
A vibrant sunset lights up the sky with shades of orange, pink, and purple, creating a stunning backdrop. Silhouetted trees with bare branches stand against the colorful horizon, highlighting the transition from day to night.
