Dolores, CO is located on the banks of McPhee Lake, 2nd largest lake in Colorado. Our house has recently updated interior, freshly painted inside and outside. Very cozy, comfortable and appealing. Grass lawns front and back with a brand new 8'x16' deck at the back door. The house is located less than 100 yards from the Dolores River, good fishing, swimming, kayaking and breathtakingly beautiful! Immediately emptying into McPhee Lake. Abundance of NF, bike trails, big game hunting!

Modern log house in a spectacular setting

You won't find as unique a location as our ranch. We are an "in-holding" in the San Juan National Forest., i.e. we are 160 acres surrounded by the 2 million acre National Forest. The "Bunkhouse" is a three bedroom, two full bath house with a full working kitchen, a pot-bellied stove for heat in the cold months, and a large common area with a dining table for eight. Nicely appointed, you would NEVER expect that we were even there buried among the spectacular scenery.
