Fitness-friendly vacation rentals in Montes de Oca

I would say if you stay for a short time it’s 5 stars a long term stay would likely be 4 stars due to noise. The good Allan was great and responsive. The first day the coffee maker was broken and Allan replaced same day when I told him. It is close to Barrio Escalante and great restaurants and La Cali for nightlife. It’s a great location between San Jose Centro and San Pedro. It’s also close to Parque National that has great location. The building is great, a good gym, small pool, coworking area, laundry room and great bilingual door staff. The not so good, it will be noisy between the train and La Cali it will be loud and need to close the window. The mattress was initially a problem as the springs went directly into my body but figured out the mattress was on the wrong side and after flipping it was a lot better. Overall if you want to be in the heart of the action this is a good place to be. If you want peace and quiet would look at another location.

Es un alojamiento muy limpio, con una gran vista a la ciudad y cerca de restaurantes. El único inconveniente es el ruido de los bares, pero, es algo propio de la zona. Lo recomiendo

We had a great time in San Jose and felt at home in the apartment. It was the ideal location for us. We felt very comfortable and safe because it was a secured location with security guards. Having a designated parking spot made it easier to go back and forth without worrying about finding a parking spot. Additionally, the complex is located across from a supermarket so it was easy for us to walk and get groceries. It is located within walking distance to multiple restaurants so we didn’t need to drive for dining. The view overlooking the city from the balcony was amazing. Javier was a great host and I strongly recommend their Airbnb as a preferred place.

Super cozy apartment, all the amenities that you need are right in the apt. Getting inside is a breeze, everything is sent directly to you before your stay with clear instructions. Super clean place. Spacious and very comfy. Great price and location as well. Highly recommend.

Great complex with awesome amenities

Es la segunda vez que me hospedo con Diana y como de costumbre siempre es un gusto estar ahí, la vista del apartamento es bella. Me siento súper segura y la comunicación es súper eficaz. Más que agradecida por su hospitalidad

All I can say is Karil is one of the nicest, most understanding people I’ve ever met in Costa Rica, and I’ve been down there fifteen times. His places are always exactly like are depicted in the pictures, always clean, everything you need to have a fantastic time. Located in a great district where great restaurants and grocery stores close by. If you have a problem, he’s always quick to respond. Five stars to his Airbnb’s. Thank you Karil, you are the best !

Great place in San Jose. The building had a lot of facilities, ideal for our stay.

Me gustó mucho la distribución del apartamento, la terraza es muy linda y la decoración muy agradable. El precio fue inigualable; junto con los administradores pudimos coordinar rápidamente para cambiar unas luces y además coordinar la reposición de una pieza de la puerta del balcón que estaba fallando.

Rigo es un excelente anfitrión, me encantó la excelente comunicación que tuvo desde un inicio y que me oriento muchísimo. El apartamento fue como sentirme en casa, y me fascinó la limpieza y pulcritud en todo. Estoy muy satisfecha porque más que un alojamiento, fue una grata experiencia.

Mainor a été super sympa avec nous, on est arrivés à 5 jeunes et il nous a proposé d'être notre papa adoptivo donc je pense que le courant est bien passé. Il nous a même offert une bouteille et proposé des activités, vraiment je recommande ! Merci beaucoup pour ce séjour !!!

El mejor lugar que hemos visitado en SJ! El lugar estaba nítido cuando llegamos. El check in fue sencillo. Parqueo bajo techo es ideal en estas épocas :de lluvia. El lugar está equipado a la perfección. Tener 1 y 1/2 baños es súper conveniente. Definitivamente se convertirá en nuestro #1 en el Este de SJ.

Una gran casa, tenía mucho más de lo que esperábamos, mi hijo de 12 años dice que es la mejor a la que hemos ido, Uber Eats disponible y rápido, lo mejor es que está en SJ y como dicen otras reseñas la piscina temperada es un 100

This is a very nice, clean home in a great location. The rental team staff were extremely responsive and helpful. That being said, the listing is not clear on a couple things. It says there is air conditioning....but there is only 1 air conditioner in 1 of the bedrooms. There are ceiling fans in the other bedrooms. The window/doors do not have screens, so if you leave them open for cool breezes, bugs can fly inside. The listing does not mention the extremely loud train that runs right behind the house Monday thru Friday. The train goes by several times each morning starting at 5:30 am and blows its horn 3-4 times as it crosses a nearby street. The house even shakes a little. It will wake you up, so no need for an alarm clock.

Excellent host, and one of the best equipped homes we have stayed in!! Very well decorated and sure made you feel the luxury component that this place offers. Directly around the corner from the unit is common area with conference rooms , gym, and an elegant lap pool backed by a forested setting! Highly recommended option!!
