Fidel is a great host with a clean and welcoming space. There were clear check in and check out instructions. The location is a convenient starting point for any monterey bay adventures. Only 10 minutes to the aquarium. No issues, and the space had everything we needed to have a great weekend getaway.

My boyfriend and I spent the weekend at Fidel’s place and it was truly a wonderful stay. It was very close to Monterey and Carmel. The apartment was well stocked in the kitchen and bathroom and everything was very nice and neat. I would definitely recommend staying here and would definitely book again!

We loved our month in the lovely, beautifully decorated apartment. The bed was SO comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped, and we could walk to dozens of great restaurants within a couple blocks. We will be back next year.

Fantastic apartment. It is roomy and airy. Spotlessly clean and comfortable. Our host thoughtfully provided coffee, creamer and water so we didn’t have to worry about our first morning. Location is at the center of Carmel. We parked our car and didn’t get in it for three days. There is a great bakery and also a market a block or two away. Our host was responsive to questions. We plan to stay again next time we visit this magical town.

Nice modern place right on the beach! Appreciated having larger tv in the living room and lots of kitchen supplies to cook with. Staff were very responsive with my requests and it was a nice, quiet getaway.

I had a wonderful stay, Jeff was so helpful arranging a last-minute trip and was a fantastic host. The studio was very quiet and peaceful and I enjoyed spending time on the patio in the back. It was a great place to spend some time in the Carmel area.

We really enjoyed our stay. It is clean and in a quiet area but walkable to stores and restaurants. Loved having 2 king beds and 2 bathrooms and dedicated parking spots. Would definitely stay again.

This apartment was exactly as listed! Beautiful view with small porch that had a small table perfect for a romantic dinner. Surrounding area has a lot of food options and a local saloon downstairs. Walking distance to the mission. Cara was very responsive when it came to asking any questions. I would definitely recommend this location. 10/10 stay!

We had a great time staying here. We had some trouble getting in the gate because even though Maria messaged me what the gate code was I kept thinking and looking back at their old gate code in the listing. Luckily we got it sorted out but it was a lil confusing at first. We also weren’t quite sure which way was ok to drive to the place. Like drive behind their house or cut right in front of their house to get to the place, there weren’t any instructions so we did both lol. We were also a lil bummed that there was no outside seating like shown in the pictures. We drove around their house a couple times trynna make sure we were at the right building because we were looking for the outside furniture for us to know we were at the right place. Once again we figured it out. It was overall a beautiful surrounding at the house and so many flowers. We had a great time and would stay again. I would recommend Maria’s place for sure so peaceful and quiet it was very very nice. Thank you Maria

Had a great stay! The place was super clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable trip. The host was responsive and helpful throughout. Only thing to note is that the walls are a bit thin, but that’s not the host’s fault—just something to keep in mind. Would definitely stay again!

We had an amazing stay at Howard’s Place! Literally steps from the beach. Howard was very communicative and always responded if we reached out to him. The community is also amazing! We had an issue with the blinds not working and they came the next day and fixed them. They provide wheelbarrows for luggage and have a private pond. We would definitely stay here again! We had a great stay. The place was clean, plenty of towels, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The location can’t be beat—we barely used the car, as there were great restaurants, grocery store, shops, and wonderful walking paths all within walking distance. As former residents of the area, we felt like we were back home again. It was a great trip down memory lane.

We have stayed at many beach hotels and apartments and this may have been the best. Beautiful view of the beach, which is pretty quiet. And you can walk on the beach for a couple of hours in either direction. Also really enjoyed the location in Watsonville, which is the strawberry capital of the US. And nice to have Monterey and Santa Cruz nearby. Communicaiton with Pajaro Dunes was very good and helpful. Look forward to coming back.

Great location - the unit is a timeshare in a nice resort near the beach. Very tidy, uncluttered and well appointed. Would definitely stay again.

Absolutely loved this location. Quiet and peaceful, with the most amazing view. The bathroom is huge with an amazing whirlpool tub. It was extremely clean and felt so private. Fantastic place to spend a romantic weekend. We were not asked to do any cleaning, and checkout was extremely fast and simple. I would love to come again, and would recommend it to anyone.
