My Cute Little House

Set in the heart of Verteuil a petite citie de caractere in the Charente we welcome you to Ma jolie petite maison, a one double bedroomed gite that sleeps 4. The building is over 200 years old and has been completely refurbished in 2024. With exposed stone walls and original fireplaces, lit by vintage French chandeliers and tasteful wall lights, the gite is both cosy and comfortable. During your stay you will have exclusive use of the heated swimming pool and a large Moroccan style barn.

This idyllic French stone house can sleep up to five people. It has two bedrooms, a large living room with a woodburner, a fitted kitchen with a large dining table and two shower rooms, one on each floor. The rear bedroom has a balcony that overlooks the garden with a ruined abbey and the Charentaise countryside beyond. Outside there's a summer kitchen, a small terrace and a lawned garden. The village has a delightful cake shop, a popular restaurant, artisanal stores and a museum.

Our beautifully renovated two bedroomed gite with private pool is situated in the heart of the French countryside. It is located in a small hamlet but is within easy reach of the lovely market towns of Melle, Sauze Vaussais and Chef Boutonne with all the amenities: Supermarkets, boulangeries, pharmacies, bars and restaurants and weekly markets.

Cottage in a village house with all the essentials for a pleasant stay, refurbished and spacious. The cottage also has a private outdoor area (garden table...) with a plancha available on request. The cottage is not suitable for people with reduced mobility because the bathroom is upstairs. We have a parking space in our private yard
