The house is located on our 80+ acre family farm where black angus cattle also reside. You may also spot deer, turkeys, and other wildlife. There are numerous bird feeders so you can enjoy birdwatching from several outdoor seating areas. The property is filled with paths through wildflower gardens and has expansive views of the surrounding mountains.

Newly renovated in 2021 the Captain's Cove king room offers a cozy king memory foam mattress, coffee bar, highspeed internet, smart tv, and amenities all in a stylish and clean space. Located 3/4 of a mile from Sunset Marina guests can experience all that Dale Hollow Lake and the Obey River Recreational area have to offer. Local tips and recommendations can be found in your room!

All rooms have a view of the lake and the deck overlook Dale Hollow. We are a mile from Wolf River Boat Dock. The suite is downstairs with a private entrance. There are walking paths that encompasses 3 acres on the property. The private deck has a fire pit for chilly mornings to enjoy coffee or relaxing evening. With all the necessary amenities it is perfect whether you’re staying just a night or a week. It is settled on Shady Grove Farm and tucked between a rolling pasture and tranquil woods. The cabin is just minutes away from Lilly Bluff Overlook and 14 miles from Frozen Head State park. The Obed River is also nearby.

The Cabin is nestled by a shallow creek and faces 25 wooded acres that are ideal for hiking and enjoying nature.
