Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway tucked in a 19.75 wooded acre bowl in a rural Appalachia setting. This quaint, rustic wood decor cabin contains 2 queen beds (upstairs master bedroom & loft) plus additional fold out couch bed. Provided: towels, etc., washer/dryer/ detergent, tooth paste, soap, shampoo, farm fresh eggs, home grown garlic, misc spices, complimentary regular and decaffeinated coffee, tea bags pots, pans, air fryer, coffee pot, toaster, kitchen appliances shown

Creek side Cottage

Creekside Cottage is a modern detached tiny house, with treehouse vibes, private walkway and bridge that leads you to your getaway! It has an efficiency kitchen, full bath and a loft for sleeping. Creekside is a Loft Cottage, with plenty of natural light and beautiful views of our Horse Farm. Back covered deck faces our rolling pastures, wood lines, with perfect view of horses, deer, wild turkey, and an occasional bear. It sits over our running creek. Perfect for a Quiet and Secluded getaway.

Creekside Camp

Our new tent features a lavish interior with a King size bed, gas fireplace, game table & chairs, private bath with teak shower as well as an outside shower. Satellite TV, radio and phone are installed for your entertainment. The 360° wrap-around porch has plenty of sittin’ areas, with rockers on the porch overlooking Potts Creek. Tables & chairs are provided on the opposite porch so you can enjoy the mountain views. On cool nights, relax in our Adirondack chairs by the warmth of the fire pit.

Cottage at Man in the Moon Farm Alpacas

Surround yourself with nature, national forest, a mountain creek, and alpacas in this serene setting on a 37-acre working alpaca farm. A perfect get-away that will melt your stress away. You will have the opportunity to interact and learn about these magical animals. With pasture surrounding three sides and beautiful mountain view’s. Birding and star-gazing, firepit and picnic by the creek, or hiking the AT not too far away. Add a “Walk An Alpaca” experience for your group for only $35 more!

Unwind in a spacious tiny home on a working farm with vegetables, herbs, fruits, dairy goats, sheep, and chickens. Enjoy the views, farm fresh food, local hiking and swimming holes, or if it's cold, cozy up by the wood stove! We offer sliding scale farm-to-table dinners on weekends. We love sharing our farmstead with guests and also understand if guests prefer tranquil time to themselves. We are a 20 min drive to Dragon's Tooth, and 10 minutes to VA42 (Kelly Knob or the Keffer Oak).
