The Howard House at Miller Farms

JonathanRating, 5 stars1 day ago
This was my grandparents' house, and is the house where my dad grew up. I used to visit every summer. As soon as I found out it was an AirBnB I booked a weekend with my family so my wife and kids could experience a little bit of our family history. Janna has done an AMAZING job of updating the place while still keeping a lot of the features and layout that my grandparents had. I know my folks would be so happy and proud to see the home and the property so beautifully maintained. We spent hours and hours just sitting on the front porch enjoying the peacefulness and the view. I remember sitting on that porch with my granddad, Hugh Howard, watching the fireflies and telling him what a great place it was to spend a life. I love that it's still a working farm where you can watch cattle graze in a gorgeous landscape. Be sure to give the pigs and goats a scratch! They really enjoy it. We hope to come back often and can't wait to see the old place again. The Millers are LEGENDS for this!

Charming Cabin in the Hollow

MistyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Everything went very smooth with this trip. Maria communicated well and was flexible with our sleeping arrangements, booking, check-out. Her place was very cozy, and felt like home. Beautiful kitchen and bathrooms. We had everything we needed for a fun and relaxing family trip while we visited Mammoth Caves.

Farmhouse With a View on Mattingly Farm

RebeccaRating, 5 stars4 days ago
We really enjoyed our family vacation and appreciated our stay at the farm. It was a great base for our excursions and was a peaceful setting to recharge. The kids loved all the books/toys, and of course, all the animals! If we're ever in the area again, we would love to return.

A young black and white calf is resting on a bed of straw. The calf's large eyes and soft features are visible, framed by its distinctive markings. The background hints at a barn setting, with wooden structures partially out of focus.

One of a Kind Farmstead Experience

DominickRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The place was beautiful and serene. We got to spend some time petting the barn cats and dog and really enjoyed the cows. We were even lucky enough to be there the day a new calf was born and got to see him only a few hours after he entered the world. You’re on a dairy farm so yes there is an odor, but we didn’t notice it in the apartment at all, only outside. But you probably want to keep the doors/windows closed. A little bit of noise at night (I think it was the automatic milking robots? Which were very cool to watch!) but again you’re on a functioning farm, so you should expect some noises. Kenny was super nice and eager to share his passion of farming and details about the place. They aren’t kidding when they say cell service is bad. We had spotty at best (T-Mobile) and the internet was a bit hit or miss sometimes too, so if you want to stream some shows you might want to download them ahead of time. But we were there for the experience, not TV. Would highly recommend staying here!

My wife and I needed to make a last-minute booking and it was accepted quickly. We'd stayed before and everything was even better than last time. Love the apartment space, love seeing the cows, and love love the cheese samples and access to the cheese shop!

The Crossing

Amy and her place were both awesome! It's a comfortable, clean, and well-decorated property and Amy is one of the more thoughtful and responsive Airbnb hosts I've come across! We stayed for a wedding at the Fridge Farm venue and it couldn't have been more conveniently located - just down the road.
