Get away from it all when you stay under the stars. Private access to pristine sections of the Ocmulgee River and Piedmont National Forest. Hiking, kayaking, river lounging, biking, bird watching, fishing, swimming and RELAXING. Our camp site offers all of the above. We have four primitive sites, each approximately 16’x16’ but with 20 acres of private river-front land, there are numerous spots to set up your tent for the night. As of November 2024, it is only PRIMITIVE camping(no restroom/power)

Newly renovated 2 bed/2 bath + office, quiet home at the end of the lake - gated. Lots of trees w/ fire pit and dock in the back. Sit on the back deck and watch the Hummingbirds, deer, geese, ducks, blue herons, cardinals, chipmunks, and more. Secluded getaway on wonderful High Falls Lake. Cottage has sunny kitchen w large gas stove and all your needs (but no dishwasher), comfy den w/excellent WI-FI & Roku TV (Sorry, Fireplace is not in service), huge BR w/2 Queen beds, large screened porch, new gas grill, firepit, 2 kayaks, dock and more! Located about an hour south of ATL and only 2 miles from I-75. Come enjoy and relax in this private lakefront cottage that is only minutes from High Falls State Park and other outdoor attractions.

Ocmulgee River Timber Frame Treehouse

Welcome to our beautiful timber frame treehouse! Hand-built by local carpenter David Green, this work of art overlooks the Ocmulgee River. Our two-story dwelling has two porches, a lofted bedroom (full bed) a living area (window seat/bar/twin bed) and kitchen area (foot-powered cast iron sink, outdoor camp stove, prep area, dishes, cookware, and more). As it sits currently (summer 2025), there is not an indoor restroom. We do have a camping style toilet (Luggable Loo) available.

This home offers wrap around deck, breathtaking views, direct water access, and all the comforts for up to 12 people. No parties allowed unless you receive approval ahead of time. This is a family neighborhood and not a place for parties. There will be very steep fines for complaints of loud noises.
