My father and his wife had a beautiful month-long stay at Rick and Sanne's. The surrounding nature was so serene and peaceful, it's the perfect getaway. There's no cell reception, so it really is off the grid, but the surrounding area has beautiful walks and incredible beaches not so far by car. There's plenty to do. And there's a beautiful outdoor patio where you can work remotely, or eat outside. The house itself is simple, but beautifully constructed and finished, and Rick and Sanne were incredibly friendly and helpful hosts. Even with the recent bush fires, the place was beautiful. Would recommend whole heartedly for anyone who wants to really get away.

When we arrived Jose and his lady were waiting for us. We felt welcome from the start. The house was amazing and also very lovely neighbours we meet in the street. Monchique itself is a good place to go near other city like lagos or albufeira. Monchique itself offers some great things itself also. We would chose again for Jose his house whenever we go to Algarve again. Thanks a lot. Greetings.

Sophie and Simon are both very lovely persons,. They recommended us a great place for dinner. Besides that. the tent was great, the bed was comfortable. It has a stunning view, from the tent, the shower and the toilet. We didn't use the kitchen, as we were gone most of the day.

Maria's place is absolutely excellent. A small, very well equipped, spotlessly clean apartment on the delightful, old cobbled streets of Monchique. There were many thoughtful touches and Maria is a friendly, helpful host.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The house is incredibly peaceful—perfect for a relaxing getaway. It’s beautifully maintained and has everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. One of the real highlights was the swimming pool—it was clean, inviting, and the ideal place to unwind. Everything about this place made it easy to disconnect and recharge. Highly recommend, and we would love to come back!
