Well-maintained and venerable northern house from the early 1900s. Located high and sheltered on the west side of the idyllic Beiard Valley. Full kitchen with dishwasher, large fridge with spacious freezer compartment and induction cooker. Bathroom with shower and washing machine. Wifi, TV with smart box for streaming/apps, as well as blu-ray player and a small selection of movies on DVD. Large dining room with space for 10-12 4 rooms upstairs with 8 beds and a sofa bed. Sofa bed also on the first floor. Old staff works as an annex with 1-2 beds.

Eddastua is a lovely Nordland house from 1880

Eddastua is in history and charm. Edda Konstanse lived in the house with his sisters, who lived as a seamstress. Some years after Edda's death, Prostinne Valborg and her husband took over Prost Steffensen . When he died, Valborg moved to his children and the house was empty for almost 50 years, before Christensen took over in 2001. They've taken care of all the things that were there and turned the house into a gem with charm and tranquility. There are also many opportunities for activities such as Finnvali Nature Park with fishing in trout water where there is a boat and canoe rental. Alpine resort is about 5 minutes drive . It is a 10 min. drive to Beiarfjellet, which is an attractive hiking area in both summer and winter. If you drive further you will end up in Beiarn. There is a lot of information about serving skills in Beiarn on the website of "Beiarpuls ." There is, among other things, a significant salmon river.

Plenty of space for the extended family with 8 beds in 4 bedrooms. Lots of nice hiking opportunities nearby. Boat can be rented from Saltstraumen pier which is just nearby.
