The cabin is spacious, bright & airy with high ceilings, large windows & a 50 m2 terrace. Vidsyn is located in a remote location in Birkebeinerbakken. It is built on a slope, at the end of a dead end road & towards an open area. You can sled or strap on your cross-country skis at the cabin, & for alpine skiing you drive to Sjusjøen or Hafjell alpine center in only 10 & 30 min respectively.

The stone cabins at Kastad farm are located undisturbed in fantastic natural surroundings. The cabin in the forest, like the other cabins, has stunning views of Mjøsa and Kastadtjernet. The old summer barn of Hovelsrud Gård is idyllically located between Mjøsa and a rolling grain field – a simple and unique place for those who want to get close to nature and enjoy the tranquility of Helgøya. The house is best suited for a couple or a small family with up to two children. Inside there is a bedroom and an open living room. Outside there is a kitchen counter, with a gas burner and barbecue, a small beach with swimming opportunities and an outdoor toilet. There is no electricity.
