Christie’s Air BnB is breathtakingly beautiful! From the moment I arrived I felt at home and very safe. The yard is filled with a variety of flowers and beautiful landscaping. Inside I found the kitchen was fully stocked and the home was immaculately clean. She’s done an outstanding job on decorating and would like to tell her she’s done an outstanding job on blending pieces from the local area into her designs in each room. The bathrooms were beautiful but the soaking tub was my favorite part! Outside it was enjoyable to sit out front but she also has a wonderful back deck and patio area with a grill that is fully fenced to provide seclusion. Inside, the house has a parlor that provided a great opportunity for the adults to sit and talk because it allowed us to see the kids in the living room. Overall, I can’t say enough great things about this Air BnB! Christie was an exceptional host that shows so much care and love for this property and her guests! I will definitely be returning!

This place is like a little slice of heaven for someone who prefers the countryside. This area also has so much history that surrounds the ranch, it’s almost like you go back in time. The host is an amazing person to work with, he will bend over backwards to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The area overall is like a country get away, no traffic to hear, mountains on both sides, a small stream/river that runs through the property, comfortable furniture, all necessary amenities to make your stay enjoyable. If I could move to this area I would. This is the best area to get an Airbnb in if you’re in Alturas. If you don’t, you’re missing out.

We enjoyed the interior touches and unique decoration. The coffee provided was a nice touch. Very convenient location to the center of town, such as it is. kermit was very flexible in letting us check in at least three hours early.

What a beautiful wonderful cabin, in a peaceful location. The views were spectacular. The accommodations spot on! The hosts were very welcoming and friendly… We loved our stay and hope to go again. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay! 😊

A short stay on a road trip home from Palm Desert to Vancouver BC. So lucky to have found Kacy’s listing. What an absolutely beautifully decorated home away from home! The special touches were amazing. Loved the decor so very special. You can see how much of herself Kacy invested into the space. Bathroom amenities galore. Absolutely recommend! Loved it.
