Fylkesvei 569 ligger 30 meter fra leiligheten, men man merker lite til trafikken. 20 meter nedenfor veien renner Bolstadstraumen i takt med tidevannet. Her kan det også være anledning for å fiske med stang deler av året. Direkte fra bostedet finner man en masse turmuligheter, både langs vei og til fjells.
