Beachfront vacation rentals in Mobjack Bay

We had an amazing time. The house was perfect for us. We really enjoyed the pool and short walk to the beach. We could hear the ocean from the master suite. The upstairs deck had view of the water. Everything about our stay was perfect. The area was nice and was quiet and peaceful. We will definitely go back and stay longer next year. Thank you!!!

I had a wonderful stay at Kate’s home, it was easily 3 minutes to the beach, she had all the needed cooking utensils and even more! And even had some bathroom essentials that was really appreciated

Second time staying at one of the cottages and can’t wait to come back! The area is so peaceful and serene - great DC getaway. If you enjoy hearing just the bay waves crashing and birds, beautiful sunsets, and panoramic views even from inside look no further.

The house was super clean when we got there, the temperature of the house was great the entire stay. The pool was certainly clean, but since we went early, June the water was a little bit cold, but it felt really nice and refreshing honestly. There were three beach chairs and a wagon there that were helpful for traveling to the beach. There were available cups plate, utensils, and all the necessities that you would need, they even had shampoo and conditioner bottles there for us. We weren’t aware that there was a code to get into the house so instructions for check-in were a little bit unclear, but all I had to do is message and they responded. Overall, I would recommend staying here because even though the area surrounding isn’t the nicest, I felt safe the entire time at that house!

The cottage was in a nice quiet neighborhood, could walk the dog, it also has a fenced in yard. The home was exceptionally clean, it has all amenities needed, even a few extras, gas grill, beach chairs etc.. The bed was comfortable. Also enjoyed the water and snack basket that was left with a welcome note. Definitely recommend! Really felt like home! Short drive to restaurants and shops and a 2 minute drive to a cute little beach with lifeguards, restrooms and a free parking lot!

The only issue we had was our code for the building and parking did not work at first! Pam was very quick to resolve! There are no elevators in parking garage, I would take my stuff in at the entrance and then park! Dolphin run staff was not much help! We had a second car that we were supposed to get a parking permit for. They just told us to park and not worry about signs that clearly stated towed with no permit. Our car did NOT get towed!

Beautiful home within walking distance to everything you need, especially the beach and restaurants. Clean home with cozy feel. My son never wanted to leave the beautiful pool at the property. Would recommended to families!!

Family vacation for almost a week and everyone loved it! We definitely recommend families to come to the Blue Octopus for their next visit to Ocean View-Willoughby Spit. Friendly, clean and with all the amenities for the whole family.

We really enjoyed our stay at Josh & Maegan’s place right on the beach! The building is on the last block of the boardwalk, which is a great location because you can get right on the boardwalk directly outside the building, but since it's at the end of the boardwalk, it is much quieter and less busy than further down. The building is older but very well kept up, as was the apartment. The building's pool is small but nice, and there is a grassy sitting area with chairs and tables directly off the beach, which was lovely to sit at. The apartment is small (would not recommend three people squeezing in there), but perfect for two people if you are not spending much time inside and has all the amenities you need to cook simple meals. I would absolutely stay again!

We enjoyed staying at Kelly's place in VB. Its an ideal location for anyone who wants to stay right at the boardwalk. We witnessed amazing sunrises and moonrises. The ocean was right in front of us and from the 6th floor, the view was expansive. A lot of restaurants were also nearby. Kelly was always very communicative, polite and professional. The apartment was clean with the kitchen well stocked with utensils The bedrooms were of a pretty large size. And parking was on the premises. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and holiday for us. We strongly recommend Kelly's place.

We have visited Virginia Beach numerous times in the last 20 years. This was, by far, the most pleasant visit we ever had. Magued was an exceptional host, responding quickly to any questions. The unit was immaculately clean and well furnished. Sitting on the balcony, listening to the ocean's roar, and watching the dolphins' daily migration was the best part! We would definately stay again.

Hosts were very responsive and conscientious to special needs of their guests! And when there was a minor appliance issue they went out of their way, late at night to rectify and more than make up for it!! The house, contents and setting are just lovely!

Our stay at this property was truly an amazing getaway. The breathtaking views and stunning sunrises from the porch were a daily delight. The home is exactly as described and absolutely beautiful. We felt like we were at home. Each room is uniquely decorated. The doors opening up from the upstairs living room to the porch outside with a comfortable couch was so wonderful. We enjoyed the quietness Beach Music offered. We look forward to coming back soon one day.

This was one of the cleanest, well thought out Airbnbs my Husband and I have ever stayed in! The host was quick to respond with any needs, the home was well stocked with essentials, and had notes with recommendations for the area. We loved drinking coffee on the dock and watching movies in the outdoor living area. The area is so quiet and peaceful.

'A diamond in the ruff'. Our first AirBnB and we absolutely loved the cabin. Had everything we needed & very clean. We had wonderful weather, nice breeze off the water. Fish were biting. Very quiet . I could not wait to write a review about our stay. So much so that we are not even home yet. We had a glorious week at Bay Bliss! Bliss is the perfect description. Anywhere in this beautiful home you can hear the waves of the ocean. There was nothing better than listening to that while falling asleep on the comfiest bed in the master bedroom. Hosts were extremely responsive, helpful with local recommendations and extremely friendly. I have stayed at lot of AirBnb’s and hotels. Honestly, I have never felt so at home and I felt that way from the second I walked in the door. We will definitely be back.

Kenneth was an exceptional host for the following reasons -provided great recommendations for food, adventure on & off the property, & everything in between -approachable when we had questions and/or curiosity -clear & prompt communication -such a cozy, welcoming restored smokehouse (smelled like cedar, oak, & pine in there..LOVED it) -very well kept & clean, his & her robes were perfect for the shower & towels, washcloths, & linens were ready & waiting - fully stocked with treats, coffees & teas -gorgeous property w/ amazing dock for casting a few & enjoying unreal sunsets - super peaceful & serene My husband & I had our mini moon here & it was a continuation of our dreamy marriage to each other.
