A 244-year-old Satsuma samurai residence that was about to be sold as a vacant lot.The carpenter's handwritten inscription from Tenmei 2 (1782) still remains in the attic. Only found here in Kagoshima A Ryukyu-style defensive passageway and a red earthen-walled room, through which only distinguished guests were allowed to pass. A private rental where authentic history lives on, limited to one group per day. The property features a Japanese maple tree designated by Kirishima City, which gave rise to the name "Kurogatani," and at night, when the lights are turned off, the sky is full of stars. This house was built in the second year of Tenmei (1782). The carpenter's handwriting left in the attic tells the story of 244 years to the present day. Originally, it was planned to be put up for sale as a vacant lot, but "It's too good to break." With that in mind, the current owner, Yuki Tategawa, took over this estate. Kuroganetei is a private rental accommodation that has been restored to its original appearance, limited to one group per day. About 15-20 minutes by car from Kagoshima Airport. While many popular accommodations in the Kirishima area are 40-60 minutes away by mountain road, Kurokajido offers both overwhelming proximity and tranquility. It is also said that this area was once the gateway for people crossing by boat from north to south.

Plan B – Small Group Plan July 2024: Full renovation We have made a 25-year-old 3-story villa in front of Shirahama Beach, a 5-minute drive from Aoshima Shrine, into an accommodation. The villa was a very nice building when it was newly built, but it was damaged by a typhoon.　We have created an accommodation so that guests can stay calmly while leaving the good part of the building. Surrounded by lush nature, you can enjoy ocean views from the 3rd floor and mountain views from the opposite side. The hawk flies in the sky and makes a sound. It is a beach with gentle waves where palm trees and cycads grow, giving it a tropical atmosphere. I think you can stay very quiet and calm day and night. There are few people and cars at night, but it is a very safe area, so you can walk to the beach to see the stars at night and watch the sunrise. There is a "Oni washing board" just a short walk away, so you can enjoy playing on the island. Even on rainy days, you can relax and enjoy the ocean view from the covered veranda on the third floor. There is also a hot spring facility "Aoshima San Cumar" nearby, where you can enjoy meals and day-use hot springs. It is an 8-minute drive to Aoshima Golf Club.
