In front of our house, which is sandwiched between the Hida-Buri Highway that connects the former Toyama and Takayama, there are the Nissho-bu Mingei Kan and the Yoshima residence, which are important cultural properties that show the rich cultural assets of Japan, and this area is designated as a preservation district for traditional buildings. You can enjoy the old town and beautiful scenery while experiencing historic buildings. It is a 2-minute walk to Miyagawa Morning Market and a 5-minute walk to Sakurayama Hachimangu Shrine, the site of the autumn Takayama Festival. The festival stall in this area is called Hōmeita, and it has a variety of decorations such as a palanquin and sculptures (1-minute walk to the stall). The bath and toilet (2 places) are separate, and the bedroom can be separated by a fusuma to keep a private space. The kitchen and appliances were all newly purchased in 2025. Enjoy sightseeing in Hida Takayama in a comfortable space. There is also an old Japanese warehouse called Kura (Kura), so you can feel the history. ◆ Free parking… 3-minute walk, 220 m away. The inn is located on the hillside just behind Sakurayama Hachimangu Shrine, where you can occasionally hear the performances of the shrine and the chirping of birds. A spacious, independent house with a wonderful view. Would you like to spend a relaxing time with your family and close friends while watching the sunset? Limited to one group of up to 6 people, the entire house is for rent. With a floor area of 132 square meters, there are three bedrooms, two toilets and two sinks, so even large groups can enjoy their stay. One free parking on premises. Please be careful as you will need to climb a steep uphill slope. The kitchen facilities, bathrooms, washing machine, gas dryer, and other facilities were newly installed in 2024. You can have a comfortable stay in a house with a taste of Japanese tradition. We recommend procuring local ingredients at the supermarket and cooking for long-term stays. Surrounded by woods, you'll feel like you're visiting the countryside while staying in the city. Because of the natural environment, insects may appear. We take the utmost care to prevent them from entering the room, but please refrain from booking if you absolutely do not want to see any insects.

Opened in August 2020, Onomachi Yard is a one-group-per-day inn located in a renovated 120-year-old white-walled storehouse in the heart of Hida Furukawa. For those who want to enjoy Hida leisurely, for those who want to spend a quiet time, as well as those who want to stretch their legs a little further to Hida Takayama, the World Heritage Shirakawa-go, Okuhida Onsen, Shinhotaka Ropeway, Kanoka-cho, where the world's largest underground neutrino observatory Super Kamiokande is located, and the activity "Gattango!!" that combines cycling and the abandoned railway.etc., please enjoy your favorite style based on Onomachi Yard. In the winter, there are two ski resorts in Hida city (30 minutes by car), and there is also a hot spring facility. (Limited to one group per day) Various cooking utensils, seasonings, etc. are also provided, so you can enjoy cooking. Outside, you can enjoy a BBQ on the large grill, a sauna, fireworks, a campfire, etc., while watching the starry sky. Also, there are no private homes around, so you can enjoy loud music. It is about a 15-minute drive from Takayama Station, but we can also pick you up and drop you off by car. Please feel free to ask.
