Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Mitchell County

We absolutely LOVED Meredith's place! It was newly renovated with beautiful touches and an incredible view of the mountains. We were in town for an event which kept us busy coming and going over the rainy weekend, but while we were at Meredith's, it was nice to enjoy some peace, surrounded by nature. We'd love to return on a sunny day to enjoy sitting on the deck, read a book and practice a little yoga! If you are looking for a quiet retreat, Meredith's place is perfect!

What a perfect Airbnb! The house was beautifully appointed, whistle clean, quiet and comfortable. Communication was great. The house is very close to downtown, but Spruce Pine got really clobbered by Helene. It is courageously fighting to recover. We ate at a wonderful little restaurant in downtown, the Tropical Grill, and had a really good meal and conversation with the owner. There are still quite a few nice little shops and restaurants still functioning. Be aware that the Ingles Grocery store is closed due to flooding. But I cannot recommend this Airbnb highly enough. Absolutely first class place!

Very clean and welcoming. Bed was super comfortable and the different flavor coffees and hot chocolates were a nice touch.

You couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place in every way. Host was some of the friendliest people you will ever encounter. More than helpful in every way. Absolutely beautiful place to stay with wildlife abundant. I would highly recommend for anyone to come visit if nothing else more than to spend a couple days but be warned…. You won’t want to leave

Exceeded our expectations even with less than stellar weather. The home is much bigger than it appears in the photos. Everything in the house was clean and in working order. Pantry/Laundy room was stocked with all the might needs and easy to locate everything. We kept busy for hours working through the supply of puzzles. Super private home, but only minutes from the Walmart was quite the luxury. Communication was so good that we never even had to ask a question as everything was covered clearly. We hope to visit again.

This is a large beautiful home. The porch and mountain views were a great escape and a joy to wake up to. Will definitely be back!

The house is beautiful, and just as pictured. We felt right at home with lots of privacy and room to spread out. The furniture was all very clean and comfortable. The deck is huge and the view is amazing. Bedrooms are well appointed. The beds are very comfortable, plenty of pillows and nice linens. Bathrooms were clean and there were plenty of towels. The kitchen was clean with lots of dishes, glassware, flatware. A few very basic spices and cleaning/dish washing supplies are provided. But there was no coffee, snacks or extras. Bring all your own provisions because shopping is not close and the road in and out is very windy. A lovely place to relax and get away!

Comfortable, super clean, couldn’t ask for a better location. Walkable to everything in town. Quick response time from host. Highly recommend.

Denise's place is very nice. It's located in a peaceful, wooded setting that is 4 minutes from downtown Black Mountain. The bed is comfortable and everything in the space is in great shape. The hot tub is very nice and has a view of the back yard and an adjacent wooded area. Denise and Jimmy are helpful and quick to respond to messages. We enjoyed our stay and hope to be able to rent again in the future.

Me and my friend visited for my birthday and this listing was perfect! The bed was amazing, the space was very nice and clean, and the location was perfect for our activities! Very quiet and comfortable :) My only regret was not coming while the garden was in bloom! Will definitely be back to stay again and see it in it’s full glory though.

Our stay at "Tranquility in the Mountains", was very tranquil. It was quite dark when we arrived Saturday morning. The driveway and entry were well lit. We entered the code on the keyless entry and were in with no problem! The unit was very tastefully decorated, fresh, and clean with a well stocked kitchen, bathroom and super comfy bed! All of the amenities of home. Kelly and family live above the unit, so we would hear movement at times, but this was never intrusive or a bother at all! I highly recommend booking with Kelly, and would like to visit the Asheville area again. I wish we had more time to chill in the mountains and explore this interesting city. Thanks for your hospitality Kelly. The welcome basket was a nice touch!

Our family is always grateful to stay at Mary Ann's beautiful property! We've stayed here multiple times now and hope to continue to do so whenever our travels take us through the Asheville area. This property is truly a gem - peaceful, beautiful mountain view, a tree swing, lots of greenspace for the kiddos to run around outside after long car rides, comfortable big beds, a lovely bathroom, cozy living room and lots of much appreciated extras in the kitchen like KCups and creamers, pop tarts, waffles, water and juice. And if you ever need anything, Mary Ann is super responsive. It truly feels like a respite for us along long family trips, like getting to stop at a home away from home. We love this special place! Thank you so much Mary Ann!

Very clean home and it was near downtown would recommend this place

I did not interact with the host very often because it was a short stay, but she was responsive to the few inquiries I had. The house was within walking distance of the venue, Third Room, which made exploring Asheville fun and purposeful as we meandered to the event we were in town for. It was also close enough for an inexpensive Uber back. The home was functional and friendly for our brief visit. I will be visiting Asheville often. This will be near the top of the list if I need room for three or more.

Had a great stay, everything was easy to follow and comfortable

We absolutely loved our stay at the Sunrise Villa. We were visiting Asheville with my whole family for my sister in-laws baby shower and to celebrate my dad’s 70th birthday. We wanted a house that was private, peaceful but still close enough to town and this house had absolutely everything we needed. It was well stocked with things like coffee, shampoo, soap, paper towels and more. It was clean, beautifully decorated, had the most comfortable furniture and incredible views! We had four children in the house and it was very kid friendly. We so appreciated the baby monitors, sound machines and all the toys, games and puzzles. Christina was an excellent host, very responsive and friendly. Location was unbeatable, private and serene while being only an 8 minute drive to downtown Asheville’s amazing breweries and restaurants. 10/10 recommend the Sunrise Villa, we hope to come back in the future! Thank you to Gloria and Lorraine for everything! My family of four loved the accomodations! Everything was neat, clean, and the location was quiet and peaceful. Their communication was friendly and quick. I couldn't ask for more, and would definitely recommend this listing! I will have my family stay here again if needed.

Adam, our host was incredible. Directions were spot on, and helpful. Loved the stay and the place. Perfect for our weekend at Beech Mountain. Would absolutely recommend and look forward to coming back again soon!

We had a group stay here for a Bachelor party, and I couldn’t think of a better place. Incredible views, and the amenities were amazing. It was very close to downtown and other places we wanted to visit. Veronica was extremely responsive and helpful for any questions we had. She also provided recommendations for the area. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking to have a group trip!

Great space! Very CLEAN. Beautiful location. Adam was very responsive to questions. Home is private and picturesque yet a short drive to downtown Weaverville and Asheville. The home WiFi uses older encryption (TKIP) but I was able to use my cellphone as a hotspot for school/work. Personal devices connected to the WiFi fine. Both AT&T and Verizon cellular networks have strong signal here. This was minor and did not deter from our enjoyment of the residence or the trip itself. We had a wonderful time, and would return.

Clean with plenty of extra amenities. Great location next to the highway for easy access to different parts of town. Nice bedrooms and bathrooms. Definitely recommend and would return!
